This pasta salad is great for cold pasta salad recipes, pasta salad with mayo recipes, creamy pasta salad recipes, and smoked sausage pasta recipes. We are simply adding a little bit of a kick with that great jalapeno flavor from El Yucateco Hot Sauce. All of the flavors combined makes this an addictive pasta salad that keeps you coming back for more.

The How To Make this Farmers Market Sausage Pasta Salad Recipe for this video:
Jalepeno Ranch Sauce:
1/2 Bottle El Yucateco Jalepeno Hot Sauce
One Ranch Seasoning pack (follow recipe on pack)
1 clove minced garlic
Smoked Sausages:
Half of a smoked Kielbasa sausage sliced up into half moons
Two Smoked Chicken Sausages (Apple Flavor) sliced up into half moons
Farmers Market Pasta Salad:
1 pound of cooked pasta (use your favorite)
1 yellow squash smoked/grilled and cut into small pieces
1 Red pepper smoked/grilled and cut into small pieces
2 ears of corn smoked/grilles and then cut off the cob
One handful cherry tomatoes sliced
One can of black beans
Combine all of the ingredients above and let sit in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving. Overnight refrigeration would be even better.
This can be served as a hot pasta salad or a cold pasta salad.

PASTA SALADS YOU'LL LOVE 4 WAYS (Perfect for Potlucks)
Pasta salads are a staple at every Filipino gathering. Whether it’s a classic macaroni or tossed with proteins, it’s a dish that is easy to make and aims to please the entire family. Erwan shares his favorite recipes that uses only a few ingredients and quality pasta from Ideal Gourmet Pasta.

LEMON PASTA SALAD
Ingredients:
Ideal, cooked according to package directions
¼ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1 pc small green bell pepper, chopped
¼ cup chopped romaine lettuce
Dressing:
3 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp lemon zest
5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
Procedure:
In a bowl, whisk together all the dressing ingredients and set aside.
Combine pasta, tomatoes, bell pepper, and lettuce. Toss in dressing and serve. Makes 4 servings
SESAME CHICKEN AND PASTA SALAD W/ GINGER DRESSING
Ingredients:
Ideal Farfalle, cooked according to package directions
2-3 pc chicken fillet
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cups chopped romaine lettuce
¼ cup canned mandarin oranges
¼ cup chopped toasted cashews
2 tbsp chopped green onions
fried wonton wrappers cut into strips
Dressing:
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp grated ginger
½ tbsp toasted sesame seeds
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp sesame oil
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
Procedure:
Combine all the dressing ingredients and set aside. Season chicken fillet with salt and pepper then cook. Set aside to cool.
In a bowl, combine pasta, lettuce, oranges, cashews, green onions, fried wrappers, chicken, and dressing. Makes 4 servings
AVOCADO PESTO PASTA SALAD
Ingredients:
¼ cup corn kernels
2 avocados, pitted and diced
Ideal, cooked according to package directions
Pesto:
1 clove garlic, grated
¼ cup cashews
½ cup basil
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
3 tbsp shredded parmesan
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
Procedure:
In a food processor, blend all the pesto ingredients. Add in the avocados and set aside.
Toss pasta and corn in pesto dressing and serve.
PRAWN PASTA SALAD
Ingredients:
Ideal Penne, cooked according to package directions
½ kg prawns, peeled, deveined with tail
1 pc japanese cucumbers, halved and sliced
1 bundle butterhead lettuce
1 tbsp chopped parsleys
Dressing:
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp hot sauce
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
Procedure:
Combine all the dressing ingredients and set aside.
In simmering water with salt, cook prawns for 2 minutes and place immediately in an ice-water bath.
Combine pasta, prawns, cucumber, lettuce, and parsley. Toss in dressing and serve. Makes 4 servings
