How To make Maple Breakfast Cake

Floured baking spray 1 1/2 c Pastry flour
1/2 c Whole wheat flour
4 ts Baking powder
1 ts Salt
1/8 ts Nutmeg
1/4 ts Cinnamon
1 Egg; beaten
2/3 c Milk
2/3 c Maple syrup + 2 tbls; divide
1 1/2 ts Butter; melted
Preheat oven to 400~. Using baking spray with flour spray a 9" square cake pan. Set aside. In a large bowl sift together pastry flour, whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon. In a separate medium bowl combine beaten egg, milk, 2/3 cup maple syrup and melted butter. Add milk mixture to flour mixture. Mix well. Turn batter into prepared pan. Sprinkle top with a dash of cinnamon and drizzle with remaining 2 tbls maple syrup. Bake for 35 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool 10 minutes. :

this simple maple syrup cake is so moreish and really easy to make. recipe written below.
pre heat oven 180 degrees c
baba tin or 20 cm round tin greased and floured
large bowl
185g butter at room temp
1 and 1/2 cups self raising flour
1/2 cup plain flour
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup maple syrup
2 eggs at room temp
1/2 cup milk
mix on low speed then med til smooth and pale
put into tin smooth over
bake aprox 40 to 45 mins til scewer comes out clean
maple icing
1 and 1/2 cups icing sugar
1 tea sp marg or soft butter
2 table sp maple syrup
stir over a bowl of kettle hot water
you can add extra syrup or butter to make it runnier
takes 5 mins to set on cake

Below are the measurements for the Maple Coffee Cake Muffins :)
For the Muffin Batter:
3/4 cup brown sugar (dark or light, either one works!)
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup canola oil
3/4 cup milk
For the Crumb Topping:
1 stick butter, melted
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
For the Maple Glaze:
1/2 teaspoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon milk
1/4 cup powdered sugar

Ingredients:
60g oat flour
30g @myvegan Soy Protein Isolate
1tsp baking powder
Cinnamon
2tbsp maple syrup (or sweetener of choice)
200ml plant-based milk
1tbsp @myvegan Flax Seed Powder mixed with 2tbsp water
for the toppings:
Pecans
@myvegan Sugar-free Maple Syrup
Coconut oil
Plain yoghurt mix with @myvegan Toffee FlavDrops
Method:
1.Start by mixing all of the cake ingredients listed above into a bowl and transferring into a mini cake tin. bake for 15-20 minutes at 180c degrees
2. For the pecans mix a handful of pecans, Maple Syrup and 2tsp coconut oil in a pan until caramelized
3. Top with yoghurt and pecans and enjoy!

1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 large egg
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups frozen or fresh blueberries
Maple Glaze:
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tablespoon maple syrup
2 tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Maximum Maple Maple Walnut Cake Recipe - 500K Subscriber Thank You!
Maple Walnut Cake
This maple walnut cake recipe, is a maple syrup cake that also uses maple sugar, for maximum maple flavour.
Ingredients:
250 mL (1 cup) butter, softened
125 mL (½ cup) maple sugar
125 mL (½ cup) maple syrup
4 eggs
10mL (1 tsp) instant coffee, dissolved in 1 Tbsp hot water (optional)
100g (250 mL / 1 cup) chopped walnuts
375 mL (1 ½ cups) flour
90 mL (6 Tbsp) ground almonds
30 mL (3 tsp) baking powder
5 mL (½ tsp) salt
Icing:
60 mL (¼ cup) butter, softened
125 mL (½ cup) maple sugar
200 mL icing sugar
300 mL 35% whipping cream
Method:
Pre heat the oven to 160ºC (350ºF)
Butter and line two 20cm round cake pans.
Cream together the butter, maple sugar and maple syrup until fluffy.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well between each addition, then add in the coffee, almonds, and half of the walnuts.
Fold in the flour, salt, and baking powder.
Transfer equal amounts into the prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the middles comes out clean.
Set aside to cool completely.
To make the icing,
Whisk the butter until pale, then cream in the maple sugar.
Whisk in the icing sugar and continue whisking until light and airy.
Pour in the cream and whisk slowly until everything is combined and the cream forms soft peaks.
Spread half of the cream over the first layer, put the second cake on top and spread the remaining cream over the top layer.
Sprinkle on the remaining walnuts.
