How To make Macaroni& Cheese Old Fashioned Jds
1 pk Elbow macaroni (7 oz)
2 tb Butter
2 tb Flour
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Dry mustard
1/4 ts Pepper
2 ds Hot pepper sauce (to taste)
2 1/8 c Milk
3 c Shredded cheddar cheese
- divided (12 oz)
Cook macaroni in boiling salted water until "al dente". Approximately 5-6 minutes. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour, salt, mustard, pepper and hot pepper sauce. Cook and stir until smooth. Drain macaroni; combine with butter mixture in a large bowl and mix well. Stir in milk and 2 1/2 cups of cheese. Pour into an ungreased 2 1/2 quart baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bubbly. Sprinkle with remaining cheese; let stand 5 minutes before serving.

Chicken Parmesan
2 - 4 to 6 oz chicken breasts (boneless/skinless)
2 T olive oil
2 T butter
1/2 cup flour
Salt/pepper
1 egg slightly beaten
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 t italian seasoning
1/4 c olive oil
1 T minced garlic ( about 3 cloves )
1 - 28 oz can crushed San Marzano tomatoes
1/2 t kosher salt
1/2 t red pepper flakes
1/2 t dried oregano
1 sprig fresh basil ( about 3 leaves ) chiffonade
6 oz fresh mozzarella
10 oz spaghetti, or pasta of your choice.

Long Term Storage Of Mac And Cheese - Really Easy To Do!
Mac and Cheese comes in cardboard boxes, which allow bugs in, rodents can chew through them, and humidity can ruin the pasta. Transferring the Mac and Cheese to glass canning jars and then vacuum sealing them allows for truly long term storage!
