Recipe of macadamia nut tart
To make dough for crust
Unbleached all purpose flour 1 cup
Chilled water 2 1/2 tbsp
Egg yolk 1
Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
Sugar 2 tbs
Unsalted cold butter 4 tbs
Baking powder 1/8 tsp
Macadamia nuts 2 tbs to garnish
Filling for macadamia nut tart
Macadamia nuts 1 cup make a paste of it
Sugar 3 tbs
Unsalted butter 1 tbs
Cinnamon powder 1/8 tsp
Mixer of corn starch 1 tbs with 2 tbs of water
A seven inches round tart pan to bake it
Method
First make filling and make it cool down to fill the tart. Add butter in pan and melt it on medium high flame then keep the flame medium low and add paste of macadamia nuts, cook it for 10 seconds then add sugar, mix it and add cinnamon powder, cook everything for 10 seconds then add mixer of water and corn starch, give it a quick mix and cook for 5,6 seconds then pour it in bowl.
In a pan add 1 cup of flour and 4 tbsp of butter, mix them with hands to make it crumbly then add sugar and mix them together. Now add baking powder, vanilla essence and egg yolk, mix them for 40 seconds when dough starts to bind up in your fingers then add chilled water and mix everything together until you get a nice texture of dough. Keep it at room temperature for 15 minutes. Then preheat oven at 350°F for 15 minutes, set dough in pan with your finger tips as shown in video and make edges beautiful by pressing them with your finger tips and thumb. Poke the center of crust with a fork so it can stay stick to the pan, pour macadamia nut filling in crust and make it even then set macadamia nuts on tart. Bake it for 35 minutes in preheated oven. Crust:
120 grams unsalted butter
70 grams caster sugar
1 egg
250 grams cake flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Fillings:
100 grams unsalted butter
100 grams fresh cream/heavy cream
100 grams brown sugar
60 grams honey
230 grams of nuts of choice(roasted)
Bake at 180°C for 15-20 mins or until crust turned lightly brown
Bake again at 180°C for 15 mins

We've used as many nuts as we could find for this tart, and we don't regret a thing! The tart is bursting with walnuts, almonds, and macadamia nuts. Also, we've added some raisins in the mix to bring some more sweetness. Plus the homemade caramel sauce on top does absolute wonders!

Macadamia Nut Tart
Crust:
All Purpose Flour- 152g/ 1 ¼c
Kosher Salt- ¼ tsp
Unsalted Cold Butter (cut into small pieces)- 171.1g/ ¾c
Dark Brown Sugar- 2 Tbsp
1 Large Yolk
Cold Water- 2 Tbsp
** Freeze for 15 minutes
Then Bake for 20-25 minutes (it took us 22 minutes) @375F/ 190C**
Filling:
Dark Brown Sugar-100g/ ½c packed
1 Large Egg
Dark Rum (Optional)- 2 tbsp
Melted Unsalted Butter- 2 tbsp
Light Corn Syrup- 85g/ ¼c
Kosher Salt- ¼ tsp
Macadamia Nuts (roughly chopped)- 170g/ 1 ½c
*Bake for 375F/ 190C for 22-26 minutes*
*****In the video there's a small error! For the filling it says 1 tsp of kosher salt, we meant 1/4 teaspoon. Sorry Friends!******

=我的坚果是从烘焙店直接买来,不够香,因还没加盐没烤过的事。所以需要烤香。如果你买的是市场包装直接可以吃的有盐的那种,就直接放100c保温即可,焦糖里的盐也可以减少一些.

Fillings uses Cashew, Macadamia Nuts, Pumpkin Seeds, Whole Almonds, Dried Cranberries, and Homemade Caramel to coat the nuts. The texture and flavors are rich and contrast with sweet tangy cranberries. Caramel sweetness is just right not too sweet, not burnt black, not teeth sticky, and has mellow nutty caramel aroma. Each little baked tarts are exquisite, elegant yet cute, super crunchy and full of holiday festives.
=My nuts are bought directly from baking ingredient shop, they are not fragrant enough, because they have not been salted or roasted. So it needs to be roasted. If you buy the type of packaging from market with salty flavor that can be eaten directly, just directly put the nuts in 100c to keep it warm, and the salt in the caramel can also be reduced slightly.
Storage Method: Baked and let cool completely, store in airtight container at room temperature. For fresher flavors, eat within 7 days.
