1/2 c Shortening 2 Eggs 1 c Pecans 1 ts Vanilla 1 ts Baking powder 1 c Sugar 2 c Dates; chopped 1/2 c Candied cherries; cut-up 2/3 c Flour Powdered Sugar Blend shortening and sugar and beat in eggs. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread mixture in a 9" pan and bake at 350? for 40-45 minutes. Cut into squares while warm and roll in confectionary sugar.

500g mixed fruit (杂果) 125ml rum (兰姆酒) 60g /1/2 cup high proteine flour/bread flour (高筋面粉/面包粉) 100g/1 cup toasted pecan nuts (烤香胡桃仁) 1 tsp vanilla essence (香草精)
1 orange zest (1粒橙皮屑)

For the dry ingredients: 1.5 cups all purpose flour 1.5 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1/2 tbsp. vanilla extract 1/2 tbsp. almond extract
