Easy lemon semolina cake

Ingredients
- 280g semolina
- 400ml buttermilk
- 150g sugar
- 1 egg (medium)
- 100g butter
- 4g salt
- 6g baking soda
- juice of 1 lemon (~50 grams)
- zest of 1 lemon
Cooking preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 180ºС
Cooking step-by-step
1. Add the semolina to the buttermilk
2. Leave for 2 hours, the semolina should swell well
3. Beat the egg with sugar
4. Add melted butter, salt, juice of 1 lemon (50 grams) and zest of 1 lemon.
5. Stir the mixture
6. Add the mixture to the swollen semolina
7. Add baking soda
8. Mix thoroughly
9. Cover the parchment in the baking dish
10. Pour the batter into the baking dish
11. Bake for 35-45 minutes at 180ºС or until golden brown
12. Check the readiness with a wooden stick
13. You can serve the semolina cake warm or completely cooled

Today let's learn to make some super tasty and moist Sekerpare. It is the name for semolina cookies soaked in sweet syrup. It is melting in your mouth and satisfies your sweet tooth wonderfully.
Sekerpare means a bit of sugar in Turkish. The recipe has three steps Making the syrup, baking the cookies, and combining these two.
►Ingredients
Sugar - 2 cup
Water - 2 cup
Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice - 1/2 lemon
Eggs - 3
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Butter - 120 gms
Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 1/2 cup
Semolina - 1 cup
Baking Powder - 11/2 tsp
All-Purpose Flour - 2 1/2 cup
Egg Yolk - 1
Water - 1 tbsp
►Method
1. Make sugar syrup with sugar, water add cardamom powder and lemon.
2. To make the cookie dough with eggs, sugar, and beat well.
3. Add butter, oil, and beat it. Add semolina, all-purpose flour, Baking powder, and mix till it becomes soft.
4. Shape it into cookies, give egg wash, and bake at 170 degrees for 30 minutes.

Sekerpare is a Turkish traditional dessert. Sekerpare recipe, you can make an easy delicious dessert at home. Homemade semolina cookies dessert recipe.
Ingredients:
For 3 eggs, 200 g butter, 400 g flour, 100 ml oil, 4 tablespoons semolina, 4 tablespoons powdered sugar, 4 tablespoons coconut, 5 g vanilla, 10 g baking powder, 2 g cocoa sorbet, 800 ml of water, 550 g of granulated sugar, half a lemon.
Şekerpare Recipe:
Pour 550 grams of granulated sugar and 800 ml of water into a pan, stir a bit. Squeeze a few drops of half a lemon into it and boil for 20 minutes stirring occasionally. Then pour it into another bowl and let it cool.
Pour 2 eggs, 1 egg white, 200 g of butter, 400 g of flour, 100 ml of oil, 4 tablespoons of semolina, 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar, 4 tablespoons of coconut, 5 g of vanilla, and 10 g of baking powder in a bowl. Knead for about 5 minutes and get a soft dough.
Shape the dough by hand without waiting, and arrange it on a baking tray and shape it with a fork.
Pour 1 egg yolk and 2 g of cocoa in a bowl and mix well.
Spread this mixture on the dough and bake for 35 minutes at 170 Celcius degrees.
Pour the syrup that we have cooled before on the hot sugar pieces from the oven, cover and leave for 3 hours and serve.
