Sweet Scones- an English Afternoon Tea Favourite
So many of you liked my cheese scones I thought i'd show you my variation on them with my Sultana Scones. Then there's a recipe that dates back to 1910 - Treacle Scones; a rich tasty scone made with buttermilk. You will love them both and they are both quick to do and easy to make, win! win!
I show you how to make scones using a pastry cutter and the rubbing in method so you can replicate these in your own home.
Grab a cuppa sit back and enjoy!

TEAWARE THRIFTING & tea treats! Challenge from #thriftingwithfarmfresh on Tea with Jann #teware
Lori from Farm Fresh Style launches a wonderful thrifting challenge each year. It's so great and I love it. With $20 in hand I spent a good part of the day thrifting in shops, I hadn't been in before. We snagged some great teaware, including an Aynsley teacup (but that was online thrifted & picked up, not sure if that counts) haha
We then went to a specialty grocery and captured some treats to go with our tea.
After this, I sat down and had an iced hōjicha latte and took a moment to share my finds with you. I hope you like them.
Do you know anything about the finds or treats I picked up? Let me know! I'm always looking to learn more and discuss teaware, tea, and tea treats with everyone.
Sorry, I didn't take you along with me on the trip, I wasn't feeling the best and the stores were very busy. Hopefully, I'll be back to feeling better for our next chat.
