How To make Lamb & Mushroom Korma
3 tb Corn oil
1 lg Onion, coarsely chopped
1 Piece ginger root, peeled,
-chopped (1.5") 2 Garlic cloves, crushed
1 ts Ground cumin
1 ts Ground coriander
4 Cardamom pods, crushed,
-seeded 1/2 ts Turmeric
1 1/2 lb Lean lamb, cut in cubes
1 1/4 c Plain yogurt
6 oz Button mushrooms, sliced
1 tb Lemon juice
Salt to taste Fresh ground pepper to taste Lime slices, 1/4s (opt) Fresh cilantro sprigs (opt) Nan bread Saffron rice Heat oil in a saucepan. Add onion and fry gently until lightly golden. Add ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander, cardamom seeds and turmeric and fry gently 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add lamb and fry until brown, stirring frequently. Stir in yogurt and bring to a boil. Stir well, cover and cook gently 45 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add mushrooms, re-cover and cook 15 minutes or until lamb is tender and yogurt is absorbed. Stir in lemon juice, salt and pepper and cook, uncovered, 5 minutes. Garnish with lime pieces and cilantro sprigs, if desired, and serve hot with Nan bread and saffron rice.

Creamy Mutton korma | Lamb Korma | South Indian Mutton Korma | Easy Mutton Curry
This Creamy Mutton Korma or Lamb Korma is an Easy Dinner Recipe that will become your favourite. This Easy Mutton Curry or Easy Lamb Curry is a quick dish that you can make without any extra effort. This South Indian Mutton Korma is a non vegetarian take on the Veg South Indian Korma.
This Lamb Curry uses coconut milk but with all other flavours you can hardly realize the coconut taste, yet it adds a special taste and creaminess to the dish. This is a no tomato Mutton Curry but is a yogurt based curry giving it the tanginess. This quick and easy curry is a great lunch recipe as a Mutton curry will be ready in 45 minutes.
This is also a One Pot Dish which means less hassle of washing. This Mutton curry is made without using pressure cooker, as the mutton pieces or lamb pieces are small and can be cooked easily in a pan or wok or kadhai. This Non Vegetarian curry can also be made in bulk when you have a party or people over and you will have everyone gushing over it. For all Korma lovers you'll will love this, if you are not a veg korma fan or have not tasted it then you definitely should try this Non Veg Korma ,I am sure you will love it.

How To Make Mutton Curry - How To Make Lamb Curry - Mutton Curry For Beginners
In this video I have explained step by step in detail how to make a mutton curry using basic common ingredients. If you master this recipe then you will be able to make any type of mutton curry.
Ingredients required for making mutton curry - serves 6 to 8
* 1.2 kg/ 3 lb mutton or lamb with/without bones. The shoulder and leg piece is the best.
* 500 gm/ 1 lb/ 3 large onions
* 40 gm/ 2 oz ginger
* 50 gm garlic / 1 whole head of garlic
* 2 green chillies (optional)
* 200 gm/ 7 oz/ 3/4th of a cup of plain unflavored yogurt
* 1 tablespoon Kashmiri red chilli powder. Please adjust proportion according to your preference.
* 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
* 1 tablespoon ground coriander (dhania powder)
* 1 teaspoon ground cumin (jeera powder)
* 1 heaped teaspoon garam masala powder
* 2 dried bay leaves
* 4 to 5 green cardamoms
* 4 to 5 cloves
* 2 inch long cinnamon stick
* 2 teaspoons salt or as per taste
* 4 large potatoes cut into half (totally optional)
* hot water
* 3 to 4 tablespoons oil
Serve this with rice/roti/naan/paratha. The taste of any meat curry gets better the next day.
