1 lb Roasted peanuts 1/4 c Peanut oil, or to taste 1 sm Onion, finely chopped 1 ts Cayenne 1 ts Salt Oil for frying Grind or pound the nuts adding just enough oil to make a smooth paste. With wet hands, squeeze the mixture to remove any excess oil. Saute the onions, cayenne & salt in a tablespoon of oil until golden. Knead into the nut paste. Shape into 1" diameter balls adding a few drops of water if necessary to make them hold together. Drop the balls into hot oil or flatten & fry in a skillet. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until the outsides are crisp.

Kuli Kuli : How To Make Kuli Kuli (Groundnut cake, Peanut snack)
KuliKuli is prepared using raw groundnuts (peanuts), dry pepper, sugar, ginger and dayan miya.
Kuli Kuli is also known as groundnut cake or peanut snack.
Kuli Kuli is a prepared and often eaten for the urge of it or as Hausa will say “don marmari”, served with Pap or Garri.
It’s used to prepare soup and is also a source of oil for frying (groundnut oil).
And also, I forgot the most important thing, kuli kuli is not prepared by everyone. it is very selective in terms of preparation. So not everyone can make it.
