130 grams (½ cup) Water
60 grams ( ¼ cup) Rye Sourdough Starter
60 grams (¼ cup) Extra virgin olive oil

So about a week ago Pewdiepie uploaded a video making the swedish classic Knäckebröd and even though his attempt wasn't bad for his first time baking bread, I thought there were a few things that could have been improved. So I made this video explaining a few things that he could've done differently to get a better end product.

How to Make Swedish Crispbread
Recently we made another version of a crispbread. But this time I am using a Swedish deep notched wooden rolling pin. This is a special rolling pin that helps to create a pattern on the Swedish Crispbread or knäckebröd. ????
Ingredients:
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup water
2 1/2 cups wholewheat rye flour
2 1/2 cups wheat flour
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp instant dried yeast
Crispbread Toppings:
1 tsp salt or sea salt flakes
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp caraway seeds or cumin
Instructions:
1. Heat the cream and water together until warm to the touch.
2. Mix the flour and salt in a large bowl. Add the yeast and stir.
3. Add the water mixture and mix together to form a dough.
4. Knead it for 2-3 minutes.
5. Place the large ball in a bowl, cover with a cloth and leave somewhere warm for 20-30 minutes.
6. Preheat the oven to 450F
7. Then roll the dough out using an ordinary rolling pin to about 8 to 10 inches large circle until it is as thin as possible.
8. Sprinkle with the salt, sesame seeds and cumin seeds.
9. Roll again to help the topping stick with deep notted rolling pin.
or make a pattern on the surface using a fork.
10. Bake at a degree of 450 F for 4 to 5 minutes
11. Take it out of the oven and flip the bread. Then bake it for 2 to 3 more minutes.
Enjoy the crispbead with a slice of cheese or jam. ????️

Swedish Crayfish Party Part I | Crispbread | Knäckebröd | Fröknäcke | Frökeks | Knäckebrot
Fusion Kitch'n is celebrating this season's Swedish Crayfish Party (Swedish Crawfish Festival). Join us to this celebration and learn how to make crispbread (Swedish: knäckebröd or fröknäcke / frökeks) with Caroline, which is an indispensable part of the Crayfish Festival. Enjoy this healthy, gluten-free fusion version of Fröknäcke recipe for breakfast, lunch, dinner or as a healthy snack meanwhile.
Serves: 6-8 pieces
Ingredients:
- 80g pumpkin seeds
- 50g corn flour (gluten-free option), alternatively any other flour
- 10g chia seeds
- 0.75 tea spoon salt (or to taste)
- 0.75 tea spoon turmeric powder (curcuma)
- 40g sunflower seeds
- 80g line seed
- 40g sesame seed
- 200ml boiling water
- 2 table spoons of coconut oil (or any other cooking oil)

How to make the dough:
At first, pre-heat your oven to 120 degrees celcius. Then, add the seeds, flour, salt and turmeric powder into a bowl. Mingle everything well and add the oil and boiling water to the mixture. Stir again, and let the mixture rest for five minutes and to thicken. Now spread the dough on a baking paper and create the flat crispbread shape. You can use another sheet of baking paper on top and a rolling pin to make the shape even more flat. Now you cut the dough into pieces of the size you wish to have and place the paper on a tray. Bake the crispbread for approximately 50 minutes (depending on your oven strength the baking time may vary).
Enjoy your own Swedish knäckebröd with some fresh cream cheese, ham, salmon or any other topping (e.g. typical Crayfish Festival bread spread, for which we will post a recipe very soon ) you like!
