Wilcommen to Local Flavor: Restaurant Edition! This show chef Costa Magoulas and his guests from Hollerbach's Willow Tree Cafe cook german food.
Rib-Eye Steak with Cognac Sauce
Full recipe available at
*Ingredients*
asparagus, beef, butter, cognac, heavy cream, orange, pepper, rib eye beef, salt, vegetable oil
*Recipe*
Heat a skillet and add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Start frying the meat.
Season it with salt.
Fry it according to your taste.
If you prefer Rare to Medium rare cook it for 1 to 2 minutes per side.
If you prefer Medium, cook it for 3 minutes per side.
If you prefer Well done, cook it for 4 to 5 minutes per side.
Heat another skillet and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
Add the asparagus, season it with salt and pepper and fry it for about 5 minutes.
For the sauce, heat a saucepan and pour cognac and water.
Shred orange zest and add it into the saucepan.
Squeeze the orange and add the juice into the pan.
Thicken the sauce with heavy cream.
Turn off the heat as soon as sauce gets a custard-like consistency.
Serve the rib-eye with sauce and asparagus!

Ingredients:
500 grams or to 2 pieces boneless pork steaks or chops, (to make Austrian / German Wienerschnitzel use thin veal cutlets)
salt and freshly ground black pepper
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, lightly beaten with salt and pepper
1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
Lemon Wedges - put some on your cook Schnitzel.

NCL Buffet Lunch Food (Norwegian Star)
Tour the NCL buffet and see the food from 7 different lunches of our 11 night cruise aboard the Norwegian Star in June 2022, beginning with embarkation day lunch. The buffet restaurant is called Garden Café. It is SELF-serve, and is open for lunch daily from 11:30 AM to 3 PM. Like most of our other cruise food videos, ALL the food & drinks you will be seeing are complimentary, included with your cruise fare.
For lunch there are typically two different soups, one different type of pizza plus a couple of different sandwiches. For dessert they'll usually have one that without added sugar, and one that is gluten-free.
