How To make Kay's Fruit Cake
KAY BURGER XWSF96A:
7 oz Coconut
13 oz Nuts
13 oz Candied cherries
8 oz Green candied pineapple
1 lb Dates
1 c Flour
2 cn Sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cn Orange juice concentrate;
- small can 1/2 c Honey
Mix together coconut and nuts. Toast these at 350~. Add cherries, pineapple, dates and flour. Add 2 cans sweetened condensed milk and knead. Bake in well greased pans or cans at 250~-300~ for 2 1/2 hours. Glaze while cake is hot with 1/2 small can orange juice concentrate and 1/2 cup honey. This is wonderful...I got this years ago from a friend! Kay. -----

PLACE A WIRE STAND & PRE-HEAT (5-7 MIN.)

COOK FOR 35-40 MIN. IN MED. LOW FLAME
CAKE IS READY, COOL COMPLETELY
REMOVE FROM THE MOULD

Khajure ka Laddu
Recipe in English:
Ingredients:
-Khajure (Dates) soft 400g (washed & dried)
-Ghee 1 tbs
-Kaju (Cashew nuts) chopped ½ Cup
-Badam (Almonds) chopped ½ Cup
-Pista (Pistachios) chopped ½ Cup
-Khopra (Desiccated coconut) ¼ Cup
-Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) ½ tsp
-Safed til (Sesame seeds) 1 tbs
-Khoya crumbled 250g
-Water 1 tbs
-Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) ½ tsp
-Desiccated coconut 1 Cup or as required
Directions:
-Deseed and chop dates with the help of knife & set aside.
-In a wok,add ghee & let it melt.
-Add cashew nuts,almonds,pistachios,desiccated coconut,mix well & cook for a minute.
-Add chopped dates and mix on low flame until well combined.
-Add cardamom powder & mix well.
-Add sesame seeds,mix well & cook on low flame for 1-2 minutes.
-Let it cool.
-In a frying pan,add khoya,water & mix well until melts.
-Add cardamom powder and mix well.
-Let it cool.
-Now take small quantity of date mixture,make a ball and flatten on your palm.
-Take small quantity of khoya & make a small ball.
-Place khoya ball in the center and cover properly with date mixture to make a laddu (approx. 60g).
-Coat laddu with desiccated coconut (makes 11-12).
-Can store in an airtight container for up to 2 months in refrigerator.

-Karahi mein ghee da ker melt karein.
-Kaju,badam,pista aur khopra dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur ek minute kliya paka lein.
-Chopped khajure shamil karein aur halki ancch per ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Elaichi powder dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
-Safed til dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur halki ancch per 1-2 minutes kliya paka lein.
-Thanda ker lein.
-Friying pan mein khoya aur pani dal dein aur melt hunay tak ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Elaichi powder dal ker ache tarhan mix karein.
-Thanda ker lein.
-Ab khajure mixture ki small quantity la ker ball bana lein aur haath ki hateeli per pheela lein.
-Khoya ki small quantity la ker ball bana lein.
-Khoya ki ball ko center mein rakh dein aur khajure mixture sa ache tarhan cover ker ka laddu tayyar ker lein (approx. 60g).
-Laddu ko khopra mein coat ker lein (makes 11-12).
-Airtight box mein rakh ker 2 months tak refrigerator mein store ker saktay han.

Ingredients:
1. 3 Cans Fruit Cocktail
2. 1 Box Yellow Cake Mix
3. 1 1/2 Sticks of Butter
4. Pam Spray
5. 8 inch Square Pan or Dish
Drain 2 cans of fruit cocktail. 3rd can do not drain. Mix and put in dish. Spread evenly. Sprinkle DRY cake mix over fruit. Covering fruit completely. Spoon Melted 1 stick of butter over cake mix ,covering as much as possible. Take 1/2 stick of butter and cut into thin pats, placing over any dry cake mix.
Bake at 350 degrees 40 to 50 minutes until top is golden brown
