8 c Sliced Appetizersles- pared 1 1/2 c Sugar Cinnamon Butter or margarine Flour Mix Appetizersles with sugar. Pour in pie crust- top with margarine pieces- sprinkle with flour and cinnamon- top pie with crust.- spread milk over crust and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 375' for 1 hour. (note spray 9-inch pie plate with Pam before placing crust in) *To freeze- put Appetizersles in frezer bag with sugar -add 1 t Fruits fres and freeze. Defrost in microwave till able to separate. The Secret Recipe You'll Ever Need For Apple Pie | Flaky Crust | ASMR
This flaky crust apple pie is the perfect addition of sweetness to your tea table. Let make it!
INGREDIENTS
THE CRUST: Unsalted Butter (1 cup) Flour (2.5 cups) Sugar (1/4 cup) Kosher Salt (1/2 tsp) Icy water (1/4 cup)
THE FILLING: Lemon Juice (1/4 cup) Apple (1.5 lbs) Sugar (1/3 cup) Unsalted Butter (2 tbsp) Ground Cinnamon (1/2 tsp) Ground Nutmeg (1 pinch) Corn Starch (1 tbsp)
PROCEDURE
THE CRUST 1. Cut the cold unsalted butter into pieces and set it aside. 2. In a bowl, put in flour, sugar, kosher salt and ground cinnamon. 3. Then add in the butter. 4. Mix it thoroughly. 5. Add icy water and continue mixing. 6. Transfer the dough onto a pastry mat and knead it to help it come together. 7. Flatten it gently. And cover it well in plastic wrap. 8. Then place it in the refrigerator for about an hour.
THE FILLING 1. Peel the apples well and cut them into pieces. 2. Transfer them into a bowl. 3. Add in sugar, ground cinnamon and unsalted butter. Mix it well. 4. Cook it for 2-3 minutes. 5. Set it aside to cool it down.
BRINGING IT TOGETHER 1. Sprinkle some flour onto the pastry mat. 2. Place the dough and cut it into half. 3. Set half of it aside for the lattice. 4. Sprinkle in some more flour and roll it out well. 5. Roll it up and transfer it onto a pie dish. 6. Now roll the second half of the dough. And cut into strips. 7. Add the apple filling into the pie shell. 8. Prepare the lattice top by placing the strips onto the pie. 9. Place more strips perpendicular to the previous ones. 10. Fold down the strips and repeat the process. 11. Brush the lattice thoroughly with egg wash. 12. Bake it at 170°C until done. 13. Sprinkle some sugar on top of it.
