How To make Hot 'N Spicy Chicken Soft Tacos
1 1/2 lb Skinless, boneless chicken
-breasts (cut in strips, no more than -1/4" wide) 1 Whole med. size white onion,
-cut into strips or diced 2 tb Red chile powder
1 ts Curry powder
1/2 ts Ground cumin (optional)
1 Pressed garlic clove (or 3/4
-tsp. garlic powder) 1 ts Salt (salt to taste if
-desired) 1 ts Lemon and pepper, or 1 tsp.
-grated lemon peel -(optional) 3/4 c Water (or wine)
2 tb Olive oil
1 tb Vegetable oil
Recommended Fillings & Wrapper: Flour Tortillas, Cheddar Cheese, Tomatoes Lettuce, Onion, Salsa. Preparation: In glass or stainless steel bowl combine all ingredients except olive oil and vegetable oil. Mix thoroughly to spread spices over chicken, water should be completely absorbed, refrigerate for 1 hour. After refrigeration add Olive oil, and stir until chicken is well coated with oil, spice aromas will be noticeably lighter. Heat Vegetable oil in non-stick pan, and add mixture, frying on medium heat. Cover until water has separated from chicken, and is boiling. Leave uncovered, on low heat, to simmer until almost all water has evaporated. Total cook time is less than ten minutes, do not overcook. Place prepared mixture in center of flour tortillas, add cheese and other fillings as desired (suggestions above). Fold in half, or roll like burrito. Top with beans or spanish rice. Serves 4-6. In this video I show you how you can make quick and easy spicy Mexican tacos at home. You can use soft and crunchy tacos with the delicious mince filling and salad with any salsa and sauces of your choice.
Ingredients:
3 Tbsps Olive Oil
1 Large Onion – Diced
3 Cloves Garlic – Chopped
600g Lamb Mince
Salt to Taste (Recipe used ¾ Tsp)
1 Tsp Chilli Powder
1 Tsp Hot Paprika
¾ Cup Boiled Water

3 Salad Tomatoes – Deseeded and chopped
1 Little Gem Lettuce – Chopped

A taco is a traditional Mexican dish composed of a corn or wheat tortilla folded or rolled around a filling.With yummy chicken filling and salsa sauce enjoy the mexican tacos made by chef Varun Inamdar only on Get Curried.
Ingredients
1/2 cup onion chopped
1 no. red pepper chopped
1 no. green pepper chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic smashed.
1 tsp paprika powder
1 tbsp tsp cumin powder
500 gms chicken mince
12 corn taco shells
Salsa
1 large tomato
1 medium onion
2 tbsp fresh parsely
2-3 green chillies
1 tsp tabassco
1/2 lemon (juice)
Salt
Guacamole
1 ripe avocados
½ lime
Salt as required
2 tbsp fresh cream
Method
- Chop the veggies
- In a pan heat some olive oil and then add the veggies and saute them
- Add minced chicken and cook it on a high flame
- Add salt, paprika and roasted cumin powder
- Roughly chop the garlic and add it into the pan and stir it properly
- Once the chicken is cooked properly turn off the flame and keep it aside to cool
- Chop onion,green chillies and tomato and mix them together
- Also chop some parsley, salt and juice of lemon mix it and add tabasco
- In a bowl add the avocado, salt, cream and juice of lemon
- Whisk it all together
- Shred the lettuce leaves
- In a taco shell put lettuce leaves, chicken filling, salsa and guacamole
- Chicken Mexican Taco is ready to be served.
