This is a simple recipe with only a few ingredients. There are many recipes for the liqueur on the Internet, some of which make some very strong booze. I tried to get as close to original Kahlúa as I could, with the same alcohol content and texture.

12 Tbs Instant Coffee
6 cups of Water
6 cups of Sugar
2 Tbs Vanilla Extract
750 ml Vodka

Homemade Kahlúa Coffee Liqueur by That’s My Jam!

Step by step, easy to follow instructions for making and bottling your own homemade Kahlua coffee liqueur just in time for the holidays! Perfect to have on hand for gift giving and for hostess appreciation if you're invited to someone's house. I plan to share mine with my neighbors who look out for me all year long!

Kahlua is a rich, coffee liqueur that is used in many different cocktails and also in some cooking recipes. It makes an incredible milkshake! It does contain alcohol, so be sure you and your recipients are of legal drinking age before you partake or share.

Homemade Kahlua Recipe, version 1

Making your own Kahlua is so simple and tastes so good. It only really takes time. You probably already have most of the ingredients on hand. If not they are easy to get a hold of. This stuff is amazing.

HOMEMADE KAHLUA
4 cups of raw sugar
⅓ cup of instant coffee granules
2 ⅓ cups water
1 whole vanilla bean
2 cups of vodka

Remember to drink responsibly.
