There's nothing more wholesome than banana bread! I think what's most appealing is utilizing past-their-prime bananas and repurposing them into something entirely new and even more amazing than those bananas ever could have been. Even those who don't like bananas will like this recipe.
Baking and making this banana bread couldn't be easier, which is why I've named it my dump-and-stir banana bread. Literally all you do is dump a bunch of ingredients into a dry bowl and a wet bowl, combine then, and pour the batter into a loaf pan for baking. If you're patient enough, you'll let the bread cool enough so that you can carve off neat slices before serving them.
I must confess that I've eaten an entire loaf of this banana bread over a few days. I'm really not that good at sharing it. But it does make a great treat to share with family and friend who come over for afternoon tea or coffee, or even for brunch or breakfast. But, for me personally, I love a slice of banana bread with some cinnamon butter and a big mug of black coffee. It's how I reset in the afternoon!
