How To make Gulai Merah (Red Short Ribs Of Beef)
4 Shallots, sliced
3 Garlic cloves, sliced
1 Piece of fresh ginger,
-sliced 4 Or 5 hot red chile peppers,
-seeded, sliced 2 ts Ground coriander
1/8 ts Ground turmeric
1 ts Salt, or to taste
2 c Water
2 lb Lean short ribs of beef,
-cut into 3-inch pieces 2 tb Corn oil
2 Salam leaves
2 sl Laos
1 Stalk lemon grass
1 sl Lemon
Process shallots, garlic, ginger, chiles, coriander, turmeric, salt and 1/2 cup of water to a smooth sauce. Marinate beef for 1/2 hour. Heat the oil: add the beef and marinade, the salam, laos, lemon grass and lemon; stir-fry over moderate heat for 5 minutes. Add remaining water, cover and cook until beef is tender, about 1 hour. If the sauce evaporates too quickly, add another 1/2 cup water and continue to simmer. Serve warm. Serves six with rice and salad. San Francisco Chronicle, 3/9/88. Kurma ni sangat istimewa bagi saya pasai Tok Sebelah Mak ni Mami Tanjung. Dia guna Kas Kas, daun pudina dan last sekali Tok perah asam limau. Dulu depa guna ideal milk pasai fresh cream susah nak dapat. Saya lebih suka guna fresh cream pasai rasanya lagi umphhh. Keluarga kami sangat critical pasai makanan. Arwah Mak dan Tok selalu kata Kami tengok pun kami dah tau makanan tu sedap ka dak ????.
Bahan bahan
1. I kati ( 600g) daging batang pinang.
2. 4 biji tomato
3. 4 biji kentang
4. 4 biji cili hijau
5. 3 batang daun sup, ketumbar dan daun
bawang.
6. Segengam daun pudina
7. 1 inchi halia
8. 5 ulas bawang putih
9 . 1 biji bawang besar
10.1 cawan yogurt
11. 1 cawan fresh cream
12. 1/ 2 cawan minyak masak.
Rempah kurma
1.1 cawan Kas Kas
2.2 sudu besar serbuk ketumbar
3. 2 sudu besar serbuk jintan putih
4.1 sudu teh serbuk kunyit
5.1 sudu teh serbuk lada putih
6.1 sudu Teh serbuk buah pala
7. 1 sudu besar 3 sekawan( cengah,
lawang dan buah pelaga.

Adei adalah sejenis kueh sarapan pagi. Ianya berasal dari pengaruh India Selatan dan Sri Lanka. Selalunya ianya dimakan dengan Sambai Nyuik.
Bahan - Bahan:
1.2 cawan tepung gandum.
2.1/2 cawan santan
3.2 cawan air
4.1biji telur
5.minyak sapi secukupnya
6.minyak masak satu sudu besar.
7.daun ketumbar satu batang
8.satu sudu kecil jintan putih.
9.3biji bawang merah.
Garam secukupnya
Sambai Nyiuk.
1.1cawan kelapa parut.
2.2biji cabai merah
3.2 sudu besar air asam jawa.
4.segengam daun pudina.
Garam secukupnya.
Slow Cooker Whole Chicken {much better than buying a rotisserie chicken!}
SLOW COOKER WHOLE CHICKEN

We love making a whole chicken in the slow cooker instead of buying a rotisserie chicken. Use the leftovers for tacos or soup the next day.
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
5 lb. small whole chicken (look for a chicken that is on the smaller size around 4-5 lbs.)
1/2 cup butter
1 lemon (optional)
4 carrots - peeled and halved
1 red onion - peeled and quartered
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
SLOW COOKER SIZE: 6-quart or larger
INSTRUCTIONS:
Add the carrots and onion to the bottom of the slow cooker.
Remove the chicken from its packaging. Remove any extra parts or packaging from the inside of the chicken. Drain off any liquid from the inside of the chicken.
Add the chicken on top of the vegetables.
Pour over the melted butter over the chicken.
Cut the lemon in half and squeeze over the chicken.
Sprinkle over the seasonings evenly.
Place the lid on the slow cooker.
Cook on LOW for 7-8 hours. This can vary for each chicken you cook, for they can vary in size. You know the chicken is done cooking when the drumsticks start pulling away from the breasts and the juices run clear. If you are concerned if your chicken is done, use a thermometer. 165° Fahrenheit is the safe temperature for chicken.

Voted the most delicious food in the world, this Indonesian/Malaysian beef curry is one of the most complex flavoured dishes I've ever made. Herbs, spices and coconut milk are slowly cooked and reduced into a thick flavourful sauce that coats the fork tender beef.
It's a dish that takes patience, but it's quite easy and is well worth every minute spent. Beef is my favourite but you can also try making chicken rendang, using bone-in dark meat chicken.

250 gr jamur
1000 ml air untuk merebus
350 gr kentang, dipotong besar

Bunny Chow di cipta pada zaman darurat. Warga India berhijrah ke Afrika Selatan pada zaman Apartheid untuk bekerja diladang tebu. Mereka tidak dibenarkan membawa sudu,garfu dan juga bekas makanan kerana ianya dianggap sebagai senjata untuk melawan pihak atasan. Mereka mendapat idea untuk membawa kuah kari dengan mengorek bahagian tengah roti seperti telaga dan menutupnya dengan bahagian lebihan roti itu tadi. Kuah tidak tumpah dan mereka dapat makan pada waktu rehat. Roti ini dibungkus dengan surat khabar kelmarin.

1.1/2 buku roti tidak dipotong.
2.1/2 kilo daging kambing /lembu atau ayam.
3.1/2 cawan serbuk kari daging.
4.1biji bawang besar,
