About a month ago we brought you guys a Taco Bell Inspired Gourmet Waffle Taco. Not only did that taco have a delicious fried chicken but we topped it with Kale and Andouille Sausage. So today we're bringing you our recipe for this quick and easy side. This recipe goes great with any meal, put it next to a steak or chicken at dinner or top it with a poached egg and serve it up for breakfast. Gourmet Waffle Taco
FULL RECIPE
Ingredients
Andouille Sausage (2 links diced)
Kale (5-7 leaves
onion, diced
garlic, diced
1/4 cup chicken stock (optional)
lemon
salt
olive oil
How To
Prepare your kale: Pull kale leaves from stems and discard stems. (You could also save them for juicing later)
Pour olive oil in a medium heat pan and sauté onions until they start to become translucent.
Add diced Andouille Sausage to pan to coat. The Andouille is already cooked so we are simply heating and coating
Add kale to pan and slightly mix
Add chicken stock and cover for 2-4 min.
Uncover and mix the now wilted kale. Add the garlic, mix and cover for another minute or two.
Uncover pan, salt and squeeze lemon over the top. Give it a final mix.
Plate!

Creamy Salmon Recipe
4 pieces of Salmon
salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp unsalted butter
12 small tomatoes.
2 cloves of garlic.
Spinach 400g.
1 tsp dried spring onions or 1 tbsp fresh spring onions.
1 cup heavy cream (250 ml)
Cheese 40g.
Parmesan 1 tbsp ( I added more like 4 tbsp)

Philly Cheesesteak
1 bread roll
1 small onion
3 yellow American cheese slices
Roast Beef – Desired amount
Ketchup ( Optional)
Rough chop your onion
Place your onions on greased grill and close. After about 2 minutes sprinkle with salt and stir. Cook onions until golden brown and remove.
Tear your roast beef into small bite size pieces, place on grill, close and sear until roast beef forms crispy edges.
Mound your roast beef on the grill and place your grilled onions on top of your roast beef. Place your cheese slices on top of the onions.
Once your cheese has melted, cut your bread roll open and place open side down over top of your roast beef mound. Preferably with a spatula, flip your Philly cheesesteak over and top with Ketchup if you wish and DEVOUR!
Spinach Artichoke Pizza
Flatbread
1 cup of Spinach
Canned artichokes
Alfredo Sauce
Shredded Mozzarella
Place spinach in a microwave safe bowl, add 2 tablespoons of water, cover and microwave for 2 minutes or until wilted.
Rough chop ½ a cup of canned artichokes. Mix in with spinach.
Spread 2 tablespoons of alfredo sauce over your flatbread.
Spread your spinach and artichoke mixture over the alfredo sauce and top with your desired amount of shredded mozzarella cheese.
Place your perfectly assembled flatbread pizza on the bottom rack of your toaster oven until the cheese is melted and the bottom crust starts to get crispy, then transfer to the top rack and broil until cheese is golden and crispy. Enjoy ☺
Microwave Gumbo
Green bell pepper
1 small onion
2 tablespoons of Cajun spice
1 cup instant rice
1 large sausage link
Rough chop peppers and onion.
Remove the sausage link from its casing and tear into small bite size pieces.
Add your rice into a microwaveable safe bowl and add 1 cup of water. Mix in the Cajun spice.
Mix in peppers, onion and sausage into rice.
Cover your bowl but leave a small opening to allow steaming. Microwave for 4 minutes. Remove, stir and microwave for an additional 2 minutes or until sausage is fully cooked. Add Salt to taste. DIG IN!
Ramen Noodles
Package of Ramen Noodles
Canned corn
Egg
Scallions
Pepper Relish (Optional)
Thinly slice scallions and place in ice water.
Soft boil your egg in hot pot for exactly 5 minutes. Remove and immediately place in ice water with scallions.
Discard water from hot pot and replace with 2 cups of fresh water and add the ramen spice pack. Bring to a boil and add noodles and let them cook for 2 minutes.
Carefully peel your soft boiled egg making sure to not pierce through it.
Add your ramen into a bowl and top with your sliced scallions, corn and pepper relish. Slice your egg in half and serve over your scrumptious Ramen creation!
Next Level Mac
1 large sausage link
1/4 cup of chopped onion
2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs
Desired amount of cheddar cheese
1 package of Easy Mac
Remove sausage from casing and tear into small bite size pieces.
Mix sausage in with onions and microwave for 5 minutes. Remove, stir and microwave for an additional 3 minutes or until sausage is browned and crispy. Remove sausage and onions from bowl and reserve the sausage fat.
Cook your easy mac according to package directions and mix in with sausage and onions.
Add Easy Mac cheese packet as well as your desired amount of shredded cheddar cheese into mixture.
Mix in your breadcrumbs with the fat that was reserved. Sprinkle over your macaroni. Place in toaster oven at 350 degrees for 5-7 minutes or until bread crumbs are golden brown. YUM!
