Warm cereal for breakfast: Grape-nuts cereal with sunflower seeds and honey
Warm milk poured over Grape-Nuts, sunflower seeds and a touch of honey is a great warm cereal idea and a change from traditional oatmeal.
In Caribbean culture, there are a variety of warmed porridges that are served for breakfast. Peanut porridge is great for those that love peanuts. Cornmeal porridge is cooked and then flavored with whatever the cook likes.
Hot milk poured over grape nuts is delicious! The warmed milk softens the crunch of the Grape-nuts cereal, the sunflower seeds add nuttiness, and the touch of honey brings in some mellow tones to this recipe.

With the holidays coming up I thought it would be good to present this as a Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving or Christmas dessert. You can make it ahead and serve on the day of the big meal. Enjoy!
