How To make Fresh Pear Cake
2 c Sugar
3 Eggs; well beaten
1 1/2 c Salad oil
3 c Flour, all-purpose
1 ts Soda
1 ts Salt
1 ts Vanilla extract
2 ts Cinnamon; ground
3 c Pears; thinly sliced
POWDERED SUGAR GLAZE:
1 1/4 c Powdered sugar
2 tb Milk; to 4 tb.
Combine sugar, eggs, and oil; beat well. Combine flour, soda, and salt; add to sugar mixture, 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla, cinnamon, and pears. Spoon batter into a well-greased 10-inch Bundt pan or tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove from pan, and allow to cool; top with

Today I'm here with you to show you a delicious pear cake recipe. I love to make fruit cake any day because this is a great way to use these nutritious food. This recipe ends up moist, spongy like a sponge cake.
Pear is a great ingredient for any kind of recipe. You can make pear recipes with some sour co-ingredients such as cooking them in wine and combining with ricotta cheese (if you eat dairy) on a sourdough bread. Or, you can make a pear dessert by combining them with nice vanilla, sugar and flour. Pear tart is also a great idea for any type of friends gathering to bring joy and appetite to the table!
It is also very easy to make this pear cake vegan as in my other video recipes. I use no butter and no eggs. Ingredients are very simple and can be found in any counter.
This pear recipe is very similar to Italian pear cake recipe! It has a nice, moist sponge cake base with pears on top that gives the batter nice fruity flavour and extra moist layers.
French cuisine has another recipe called clafoutis. It is traditionally made with black cherries, but many people make it with apples or pears as well. This recipe also reminds me of a pear clafoutis recipe, but my recipe is lighter and more cake-y, which is more suitable as a pear coffee cake for nice tea/coffee times within the day or for relaxing times on the weekends.

Ingredients for making harvest pear crisp:
6 cups bosc pears, cored and sliced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons cold butter
1 cup regular oats
1/2 cup sliced almonds (optional)
Instructions for making classic pear crisp:
- First in a large bowl add your pears
- Then add your fresh lemon juice
- Mix the two together
- Now in a separate bowl add your sugar to the bowl
- Followed by your cornstarch
- Then add your ground cinnamon
- Mix everything together
- Combine the contents of both bowls and mix
- In your baking dish pour in the pear mixture
- Now in a food processor add your flour
- And add the rest of your cinnamon
- Now add in your brown sugar and salt
- Now blend everything together
- You then want to add in your cold butter
- And blend everything together well
- Now add in your regular oats
- As well as your sliced almonds
- Give that a couple pules in the processor
- Now spread your oat mixture over the top of the pears
- Bake in the oven at 350F for 15 minutes
- Let cool and your harvest pear crisp is ready to serve
