How To make Fresh Blueberry Pie
10 1/2 cups Fresh blueberries
1 cup Sour cream
2 tablespoons Flour
3/4 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 Egg -- beaten
1 Pie crust (frozen) 9 inch
* Topping * 3 tablespoons Flour
3 tablespoons Oleo
3 tablespoons Pecans (chopped fine)
Combine and mix flour, sugar, vanilla, salt and egg at medium speed for 5 min. or until smooth. Stir in blueberries, pour into 9 inch pastry shell, bake at 400^ for 25 minutes. Combine: 3 T flour, 3 T oleo, and 3 T. pecans . Sprinkle over top of pie. Bake 10 minutes more. Chill before serving.

1/8 teaspoon non-aluminum baking powder (if not using, double the salt)

4 cups blueberries, rinsed and dried
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/2 cup sugar

This recipe for blueberry pie is probably the only one you will ever need. Our family loves blueberry pie so much that there is no point in making any other.
Recipe:
crust for 10 pie
Ingredients for the Blueberry pie filling
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup plus 2 T. Flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
5 cups blueberries:
2 TB lemon juice
3 TB butter
1 egg wash wash to brush the crust (1 egg white beat well enough to break up and add 2 tsp water mix)
sugar to sprinkle on the crust
