How To make Eggless, Milkless, Butterless Cake
1 c Brown sugar
1 c Water
1 c Raisins
2 Level tbsp. drippings
1/2 ts Salt
1 1/2 c Sifted all-purpose flour
3/4 ts Soda
1/2 ts Ginger
1 ts Cinnamon
Cook together sugar, water, raisins, drippings and salt. Let cool. Sift together flour, soda, ginger and cinnamon. Stir into the cooled cooked mixture. Mix well. Bake 1 hour at 350F in a greased loaf pan. To make a delicious fruit cake add a cup of chopped dates, 1 cup mixed peel, 1/2 cup nuts or drop by teaspoonfuls on a cookie sheet and bake 15 minutes.Source: Heritage Recipes ch. -----

This vegan dessert is very easy to prepare. It is a soft cake witout eggs, without butter, and without milk. only stir the flour with orange juice and vegetable oil and bake. This is a soft fluffy cake you should try! I prepare it with coconut oil, but you can use any kind of vegetavle oil you like!
INGREDIENTS:
- 450 g of flour (pastry flour, soft flour)
- 550 g of orange juice
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 20 g cacao
- 20 g of baking powder
- 100 g vegetable oil
- 200 g of sugar
- a pinch of salt
- orange zest
-1/4 tsp turmenic
- 50 g raisins
- powdered sugar

Wacky Cake!
Make an easy Chocolate Cake without using Eggs!
Use the Baking Pan as the Mixing Bowl!
Perfect for when you don't have eggs on hand or for those that may be allergic to eggs!
This vintage recipe was first created during the depression because they needed to ration the eggs because of the War!
You'll fall in love with this easy moist chocolate cake which is perfect with Buttercream Icing!

Jolene's Wacky Cake
1 1/2 Cup Sifted Flour
2 TBS Cocoa Powder
1/2 TSP Salt
1 Cup Sugar
2 TSP Baking Powder
1 TSP Vinegar
1 TSP Vanilla
5 TBS Vegetable Oil
1 Cup Water
You should really sift the dry ingredients, but I dump them into a 8 inch square baking pan. Make three holes in the dry ingredients inside the pan. Pour Vinegar in the 1st one, Vanilla in the second one and oil in the third. Pour water over top everything. Mix in pan until smooth. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 minutes. Cool and frost as desired!
