A layered aubergine burger inspired by the flavours of the Middle East. Marinated aubergine and halloumi stacks sandwiched in a nigella seed sourdough bun, with sun-dried tomato paste, lettuce, fresh tomato and red onion, labneh yoghurt, garlic mushrooms, barberries and za'atar. With crispy roasted new potatoes and flaky sea salt. Yes!

INGREDIENTS:
-1 tablespoon olive oil
●1 loaf (430g) Turkish bread, cut into 4 portions, each split in half
●1/2 cup (130g) purchased hummus
●70g baby spinach
●150g purchased roasted red capsicum (roasted peppers), sliced thickly
●1/2 small (40g) red onion, sliced thinly
●chilli sauce, to serve, optional
●lamb patties
●3/4 cup (50g) fresh breadcrumbs
●2 tablespoons milk
●500g lamb mince
●1 medium (150g) brown onion,
●coarsely grated 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
●1 garlic clove, crushed
●2 teaspoons ground cumin

Arabian Burger. This is a keepsake Savoury Chicken burger Patty recipe. Very easy to make, and paired with the delicious homemade spiced Mayonnaise, you might wanna try this burger right away. Here, we made a Pita pocket burger,(an Arabian Burger, inspired by the 'McArabia' but you can use regular burger buns as well. If using pita, make sure they are warm, soft, and pliable.

Kafta Burger | Middle Eastern style Burger | Kravings
I love Arabic food! Growing up in the Middle East I grew up with Kaftas, Kebabs, Seekhs and so much more. In this recipe I made burger patties with Middle Eastern spices and fire them up on my charcoal grill. These are stuffed into a pita with a tahini sauce!
Here are the ingredients and steps to make this recipe!
1 cup diced Onion
1 tsp Salt
1 lb ground Beef
1 lb ground Lamb
2 tbsps Kafta spice
1 tbsp red Aleppo peppers
1/2 tbsp Cinnamon powder
1 tbsp Salt or to taste
2 tbsps minced Garlic
1/2 cup chopped Parsley
1 tbsp white Pepper
Add the tsp of salt to the Onion and add to a cheesecloth to drain out excess moisture - you can also give it a little bit of a squeeze to get started.
Add the beef and lamb to a bowl
Add the kafta spice, red aleppo peppers, cinnamon powder & salt
Add the onion after the moisture has been removed
Add the garlic and parsley and mix
Add the white Pepper and add this in.
Grab a fist full of the meat, make a flattened patty and stack these between sheets of parchment paper.
Stack the patties between parchment paper and freeze
Cook on a coal BBQ
Cut pita pockets in half and serve these stuffed with kafta burgers, tahini sauce and some greens
