How To make Dutch Apple Bread
1/2 c Butter or margarine; softene
1 c Sugar
2 Eggs
1 ts Vanilla
2 c Flour
1 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
1/3 c Buttermilk
1 c Apple; chopped; peeled
1/3 c Walnuts; chopped
***topping*** 1/3 c Flour
2 tb Sugar
2 tb Packed brown sugar
1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
3 tb Butter or margarine
butter and sugar. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Stir into the creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Fold in apple and nuts. Pour into a greased 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan. For topping, combine the first four ingredients; cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 for 55 - 60 minutes or until bread tests done. HOW TO MAKE DUTCH APPLE BREAD / CRUMB TOPPING
Hello everyone. I am back with another really good recipe. It is my Dutch Apple Bread which if you have never had it, I can only explain it as part bread and part cake. It is that delicious honestly. It is very simple to make and you may already have all the ingredients on hand. This Dutch Apple Bread is something I love any time of the day. The ingredients I will post below. Ingredients:
1/2 cup of softened butter
1 cup of granulated sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
1 tsp of vanilla extract
2 cups of all- purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cups diced peeled green apples
line a bread pan or butter it very well
preheat your oven to 350
Cream butter and sugar
Add in eggs, milk and vanilla stir or mix to incorporate mix in flour salt and baking powder. fold in apples pour into pan.
Topping:
5 TBSP cold butter
1/3 cup of flour
2 TBSP granulated sugar
2 TBSP brown sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
combine all and mix with a fork or a pastry blender until crumbly . Sprinkle over the batter in the pan. Then put the bread in the center of your oven for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.Let cool and then remove from the pan.
Vanilla Glaze
1 TBSP melted butter
1/2 cup of powdered sugar
1 TBSP milk
1/4 tsp vanilla
mix all together till you get a drizzle consistency and drizzle across the top of the bread. And Enjoy.

Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F) and bake for 30-40 mins, but keep an eye on it.

Ingredients
• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 large eggs, room temperature
• 1/4 cup buttermilk (Substitute with 1/4 cup milk & 3/4 teaspoon Vinegar)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 Large Granny Smith Apple (Peeled & Diced)
TOPPING:
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
• 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
Directions
• Preheat oven at 350F.
• Measure all ingredients.
• Combine the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda and sift and set it aside.
• Peel 1 large apple. Dice them and soak them in water with a pinch of salt . (Prevent from discoloring apples)
• Dice 1/4 cup butter for the topping and keep it in the freezer.
• Grease 9x5-inch loaf pan.
• In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar.
• Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
• Beat in buttermilk and vanilla.
• Gradually add to creamed mixture.
• Fold in apples into the mixture.
• Pour into a greased 9x5-in. loaf pan.
• For topping, combine the sugar, flour and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over batter.
• Bake at 350° for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
• Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack.
