2 c Unsifted self-rising flour
1/4 c Sugar
2 1/3 c Heavy cream
2 pt Strawberries, hulled
1 c Blueberries
NUtrITIONAL INFORMATION/SERV:

add 1 1/3 cu heavy cream. With fork, stir until soft dough begins to form a ball. Turn out onto lightly floured surface; knead gently 4 times. Pat into 10x3 inch strip; cut crosswise into 6 lengths. Place on heavy baking sheet. Bake 15 mintues or until light borwn. Cool on wire rack. 2. In medium saucepan, place 1 cup strawberries; with potato masher or
fork, mash. Reserve 2 T sugar; add remainder to mashed strawberries. Heat to boiling; boil 1 minute. Pour into medium bowl; chill thoroughly. 3. Slice remaining strawberries; add to cooled mashed berries. Add
blueberries; mix. 4. In small bowl of electric mixer, at high speed, whip remaining cream
with reserved sugar until soft peaks form. 5. To serve: Split shortcakes horizontally, fill with berries and whipped

In this video, I made strawberry shortcake.
You think 'oh you're not BEGINNER', but no, I don't know how to icing like some kind of bakery.
So in this video, I'll show you how I icing the cake, for not good at icing like me
Scraper literally changes my life. It makes I'm really good at icing the cake!
Please, follow my recipe. I highly recommend this. One of my favorite recipes in the past 5 years!
= INGREDIENTS =
• Genoise (high 15cm/6inch round pan)
3 eggs
120g(1/2cup plus 4tsp) sugar
120g(3/4cup plus 2Tbsp) pastry flour
Pinch of salt
5g(1tsp) vanilla extract
50g(3 1/2Tbsp) melted unsalted butter
• Simple Syrup
30g(2Tbsp) sugar
30g(2Tbsp) water
• Whipped Cream
600ml(2 1/2cups) heavy cream
60g(4Tbsp) sugar
Strawberries
-Genoise

1. In a bowl, put eggs and sugar. Using a double boiler, whip about 8~10min until fluffy. When water is boiling, turn off the heat and whip.
2. Add the sieved pastry flour, salt, and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
3. In melted unsalted butter, put a dollop of the batter, and mix. Put it back to the batter and mix again.
4. Transfer the batter into the round pan. Tap it to get out air pockets, and bake 170C / 340F for 30~40min.
5. After fully chilled, slice the cake into 3 layers.
-Simple syrup
1. In a microwavable bowl, put sugar and water. Microwave and mix until all sugar are melted. Chill it in a room temp until use, or refrigerate up to 7~10 days.
-Assembly
1. Place one layer on a cake stand. Put the simple syrup with a brush or spoon, etc. Spread the thin layer of whipped cream evenly. Place halved strawberries on top. Spread whipped cream evenly, and place another layer of cake. Repeat with remaining layers.
2. Put the whipped cream in a piping bag, about 1/3~1/2cup.
3. Spread remaining frosting all over the top and side with spatula or scraper.
4. Pipe the whipped cream for decoration, and put some strawberries on top.
5. Refrigerate at least 30 min before slicing the cake.
