How To make Crock Pot Sloppy Joes

shortening

celery, diced

green pepper, chopped

garlic, clove, minced

worcestershire sauce

ketchup

beef bouillon cubes, crushed
1/2
teaspoon
paprika
1/4
teaspoon
pepper
1
each
tomato paste, 6 oz. can
1 1/4
cup
water
3
tablespoon
vinegar
3
teaspoon
brown sugar
1
teaspoon
dry mustard
Directions:
Heat shortening in skillet and brown meat, discard fat. Combine all ingredients in removable liner, stirring well. Place liner in base. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours; or high 3-4 hours; or auto 5 hours. Serve over warmed burger buns or noodles.

Crock Pot SLOPPY JOES
2 pounds Lean GROUND BEEF, 96% lean is what I used
1 large YELLOW ONION, minced
1 RED BELL PEPPER, minced
2 CELERY RIBS, minced
6 ounce (17 g) can TOMATO PASTE
8 ounce (227g) can TOMATO SAUCE
1/2 cup BBQ sauce I added another 1/4 cup than the video showed)
1/4 cup KETCHUP
1 tablespoon BROWN SUGAR
1 tablespoon SMOKED PAPRIKA
2 tablespoons WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
2 teaspoons GARLIC, minced
1 teaspoon CHILI POWDER
1 teaspoon DRY MUSTARD, can substitute YELLOW MUSTARD
1/4 teaspoon SALT and GROUND PEPPER to taste
Stir all ingredients together in a crock pot that has been sprayed with non stick cooking spray. Cover and cook on high at least 4 hours. Or on Low for 6 to 8 hours. Uncover and dip any grease floating on top with a large spoon. Stir to break up hamburger and mix well again.
Serve on toasted buns of your choice with slices of cheese.

seasoning salt
dried onion
parsley
brown sugar
two cans tomato soup
you can add four beef bouillon if you want or leave it out taste great either way
at the end if it needs to be thick you can thicken it with cornstarch
