carrots, peeled, sliced OR 1 20 ounce ba frozen sliced carrots, thawed
1
cup
mayonnaise
1
tablespoon
onion, grated
1
tablespoon
prepared horseradish
1/4
cup
cheddar cheese, shredded
2
tablespoon
buttered bread crumbs
Directions:
In a saucepan, cook carrots just until crisp-tender; drain, reserving 1/4 cup cooking liquid. Place carrots in a 1-1/2 quart baking dish. Combine mayonnaise, onion, horseradish and reserved cooking liquid. Spread evenly over carrots. Sprinkle with cheese; top with bread crumbs.
Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Directions:
1. Peel and slice carrots.
2. Cook, covered, in a small amount of water over medium heat until tender. Drain.
3. In a medium size skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat.
4. 4 Stir in flour, salt, pepper, Goya, and sugar; cook for 1 minute.
5. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and starts to boil.
6. Add the cooked carrots and stir to coat.

REZEPT UND ZUTATEN:
2 große Kartoffeln.
1 Karotte.
1 kleiner Blumenkohl.
1 kleiner Brokkoli
Salz 1 Esslöffel.
Kochen.
2-3 weitere Minuten kochen.
Kartoffeln abkühlen.
Lauch.
Olivenöl.
5-7 Minuten braten.
1 Paprika.
Olivenöl.
3 Eier.
Olivenöl 5 Esslöffel.
Milch 400 ml. / 1 1/2 Tassen.
Milch in 2 Teile teilen.
Mehl 130 gr. / 1 Tasse.
Salz 1 Esslöffel.
Schwarzer Pfeffer.
Der zweite Teil der Milch.
Französische Gewürze.
Käse 150 gr. / 1 1/2 Tassen.
Im Ofen bei 180°C (350°F) 50 Minuten backen.
Griechischer Joghurt 2 Esslöffel.
Mayonnaise 2 Esslöffel.
Knoblauch.
Gurken.
Reiben oder fein hacken.

How to make Finnish Christmas Carrot Casserole
THIS WEEKS RECIPE: How to make Finnish Christmas Carrot Casserole
Ingredients
Servings: 6-8
7 lbs. Carrots (3kg)
4 Tablespoons Breadcrumbs
¾ Cup Whipping Cream (1.5dl)
2 Teaspoons Salt
2.5 oz. Dark Syrup (0.75dl)
Directions
Oven Temperature: 425ºF (225ºC)
Time: 40min
1. Peel the carrots and chop them into small pieces
2. Cook the carrots in salted water until they get soft. This can take some time
3. When the carrots are soft remove from heat and drain the remaining water and let cool for a while
4. Puree the carrots and double check that no lumps remain
5. In a second bowl mix cream and breadcrumbs and the pour it over the carrots
6. Mix it well with the pureed carrots
7. Add salt and dark syrup and combine
8. Do a taste check, it should be sweet but not overly sweet and the carrot taste should be prominent
9. Transfer the carrot mixture into oven safe containers and sprinkle some breadcrumbs on top
10. Bake in oven for 40min
11. Done! Enjoy
