How to Make Traditional Fudge | Creamy Old Fashioned Fudge Recipe
Find and print the FULL recipe here:
In this episode of In The Kitchen With Matt, I will show you how to make traditional fudge. This creamy old fashioned fudge recipe is so yummy. If you are a homemade fudge lover like me you have got to try this. I love all kinds of fudge, 3-ingredient microwave fudge, peanut butter fudge, cookies, and cream fudge, etc. My aunt gave this recipe to my mom in 1968, and I remember helping her make it when I was young. It is similar to a fantasy fudge. We always had it around the holidays. Creamy old fashioned fudge is more finicky than microwave fudge, but it tastes better to most people. If I can do it, you can do it. Let's get started and make some fudge from scratch!

The Holidays Are Coming: Easy Marshmallow Fudge
Greetings! Today I am going to show you my favorite recipe for fudge. Marshmallow fudge, this stuff is great and you will love it too! 5 simple ingredients that you may already have on hand and a recipe that is a throwback to the 70s but oh is it good. It is also extremely easy and a good recipe for the new cook. You will certainly impress your friends when you give them a box full of this delicousness!
I started out by telling you to us a 9x13 pan, but I was wrong. Only use that if you double the recipe. What you need to make this is:
1 14 ounce can condensed milk
3 cups chocolate chips
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
dash of salt
3 cups mini marshmallows
Place condensed milk and chocolate chips in a saucepan and melt over medium heat, stirring constantly, when everything is melted and the mixture begins to thicken, add the marshmallows and kind of fold them in so that they don't melt into the fudge. You want them whole so that they are studded into the fudge in the final products.
Pour into an 8 inch baking pan lined with aluminum foil and place in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to an hour. Remove fudge from pan by lifting the foil and then you can cut into pieces. I like to return them to the pan at this point and keep it in the fridge overnight to set up completely. If you like, add some chopped nuts to the mixture before placing in the pan and you will have rocky road fudge.
Give this one a try, I know you will just love it! As always, Happy Gifting!
