How To make Chili Rice Salad
1 pk Uncle Ben's Fast Cooking
-Spanish Rice 2 c Light red Kidney Beans, well
-drained 2 c Green pepper, chopped
1 c Onion, finely shopped
1 c Salad oil
3 tb Vinegar
1 tb Chili powder
1/2 ts Hot Pepper Sauce, (Tabasco)
1. Prepare rice according to the instructions on the package, omitting
the margarine. 2. Cool slightly. 3. Add beans, green peppers and onions. 4. Combine salad oil, vinegar, chili powder, and hot pepper sauce. Stir into the rice mixture. 5. Chill well before serving. For this cold rice salad recipe you’ll need:
- 2 Garlic cloves
- Half a washed cucumber
- 150g Cherry tomatoes
- 3 Salad onions
- 20 Black olives
- Handful fresh basil
- 125g Basmati rice
- 1 Lemon
- Olive oil
- Black pepper

Salt - a pinch
Jaggery (powdered) - 3 tbsp
Ginger chopped - 2tsp
Lemon juice - 3 tbsp
Soya sauce (light) - 2tbsp
Chilli sauce - 1 tbsp
Peanut butter - 1tbsp
Sesame oil - 1tbsp
For Salad
Mango sliced - 2cups
Cabbage shredded - 1cup
Purple cabbage shredded - 1cup
Capsicum sliced - ½ cup
Raw papaya shredded - 1cup
Carrot juliennes - 1 cup
Spring onions chopped - ½ cup
Mint leaves - a handful
Salt - a pinch
Lemon juice - 2tbsp
Sesame (toasted) - 1tbsp

LAY HO MA! There's not much more comforting than a bowl of warm, delicious, fluffy rice. This recipe is incredibly flavourful and simple to make. Join me in this episode and learn how to cook a delightful bowl of garlic turmeric rice. Let's begin
Ingredients:
6-7 pieces of garlic
1/2 onion
80g broccolini
1/4 red bell pepper
3 tbsp avocado oil
pinch crushed pepper flakes
1/4 cup corn
1 1/2 cups basmati rice (cooked)
1 tsp turmeric
pinch of salt
Directions:
1. Finely chop the garlic, onion, broccolini, and red bell pepper
2. Heat up a nonstick pan to medium low heat. Add 2 tbsp of avocado oil
3. Cook the garlic and onions for 6-7min. Add the crushed pepper flakes
4. Set the garlic and onions aside. Heat the pan to medium heat and add 1 tbsp of avocado oil
5. Sauté the broccolini and red bell pepper for a couple of minutes. Add the corn, basmati rice, turmeric, salt, and the cooked garlic and onions. Sauté for 2-3min
6. Plate and sprinkle with some more crushed pepper flakes
