JUDI M. PHELPS:
1/2 c Green spanish-style olives
1 lb Ground turkey OR
1 lb Ground-turkey sausage
1 lg Onion; chopped
1 Fresh jalapeno chili;
-stemmed, seeded and minced 1 tb Salad oil
3 tb Chili powder
7 oz Can green chilies; diced
28 oz Can tomatoes
2 Cans kidney beans (15 oz);
-each 1/8 ts Ground cloves
TOPPINGS:
Corn chips Cheddar cheese; shredded Cilantro; chopped Lime wedges Unflavored plain yogurt Slice olives; set aside. In a 4-5 quart pan over high heat, combine turkey, onion, jalapeno, and oil. Stir often until meat is crumbly and brown, about 20 minutes. Stir in chili powder, green chilies, tomatoes (break up with a spoon) and juices, beans and liquid, cloves, and olives. Ingredients (Serves 3 | Prep time: 10m Cooking time: 40m | 600 calories & 6g fat p/serving):
- 500g Minced Turkey
- 1 Onion
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 1 tsp Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tbsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 Tin Chopped Tomatoes
- 2 tbsp Tomato Puree
- 1 Tin Kidney Beans
- 1 Beef Stock Cube
- Olive Oil (to fry)
- Salt & Pepper
- Rice (to serve)

EXTRA LEAN GROUND TURKEY CHILI RECIPE
-2 lbs ground turkey
-1 envelope taco seasoning
-1 envelope ranch dressing ( light)
-1 1/2 cups of water
-1 can (16 ounces) mild chili beans undrained
-1 can (15 1/4 ounces) whole kernel corn drained
-1 can (15 ounces) pinto beans, rinsed and drained
-1 can (14 1/2 ounces ) stewed tomatoes
-1 can (10 ounces) diced tomato with green chillies
Mix everything , except the 2
Envelopes of seasoning and dressing, add these last 2 after 5 minutes and then ground turkey . Cook for aprox. 15 minutes and then enjoy as a wrap with lettuce, flatbread, or even with brown /jasmine rice ????
CHILI DE PAVO BAJO EN GRASA
-2 lbs carne molida de Pavo baja en grasa
-1 sobre taco seasoning
-1 sobre ranch dressing ( Bajo en calorias)
-1 1/2 tazas of Agua
-1 lata (16 ounces) mild chili beans con liquido
-1 lata (15 1/4 ounces) whole kernel corn sin liquido
-1 lata (15 ounces) pinto beans, lavado y secado
-1 lata (14 1/2 ounces ) stewed tomatoes
-1 lata (10 ounces) diced tomato with green chillies
Mezclar todo excepto los 2 sobres, estos se agregan después de 5 minutos y luego el pavo, cocinar por 15 minutos y buala! Puede servirse con lechuga, o tortilla de trigo o arroz integral o Jasmine
