How To make Chicken'N' Peaches Piquante
4 skinned and boned chicken breast halves
about 5
oz. each salt and pepper 1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup red bell pepper :
coarsley chopped
15 1/2 ounces can sliced peaches drained/liquid reser
1/2 cup thick and chunky salsa
1 tablespoon frozen orange juice concentrate
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves :
or parsley
Season chicken with salt and pepper. In large nonstick skillet, over Medium-High heat, heat oil. Add chicken; cook 9-10 minutes, turning once, until no longer pink in the cneter. Remove to platter. Add bell pepper to skillet, reduce heat and cook and stir 2 minutes until crisp-tender. Add reserved peach liquid, salsa and orange juice to skillet, and bring to a boil, scraping up browned bilts from bottom of pan. Add peaches and cilantro; cook and stir 3 minutes until hot. Add chicken and any juices that may have accumulated on platter. Spoon sauce and peaches over chicken until glazed and serve. Makes 4 servings. What part of the chicken to use?
You can use boneless or bone-in chicken pieces. We prefer to use chicken tenders since they cook quickly and can be cut easily with a fork. The best fried chicken for this meal should be well-seasoned and slightly on the salty side to pair well with the sweet syrup! This chicken recipe starts with saltwater brine that now only tenderizes the chicken but also adds flavor. Simple seasonings of cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, parsley, black pepper, and salt add nice flavor without having to empty out the entire spice cabinet.
What goes well with chicken and waffles?
Chicken and waffles in a complete meal on their own and don't need any side dishes! It can be served for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! If you prefer a side dish if serving for breakfast pair it up with a bowl of fresh fruit or buttery grits on the side. If serving for lunch or dinner, savory collard greens makes a wonderful side.

2-4 chicken breast

8-10 oz mushroom
1/2 cup heavy cream
flour
Greens
2 bundles mustard greens
1 bundle turnip greens
3-5 pieces fat back ( depends on how big your greens bundles are)
onion
salt/pepper
olive oil
Note: this is a very simple recipe, but it is tasty! Cook it down then adjust your oil and salt. It needs to be cooked enough so that there is little to no water in the skillet, basically fried greens! Add other spices if you want like chilli flakes, bouillon, vinegar, or touch of sugar. I have made it like this and loved it too.
