Broccoli Tree Salad (브로콜리 샐러드)
The recipe is here!:
One of my favorite BBQ places of all time is Fette Sau in Brooklyn. They make a delicious broccoli salad as a side dish for their BBQ and customers never miss ordering it with their beef brisket, including me. It's really tasty, but it has a lot of olive oil, so it looks and tastes really oily. It's ok once in a while, but I couldn't eat it all the time...

Easy Korean Broccoli Salad
Korean broccoli salad is healthy, low carb, and so delicious! You may have seen this served as a side dish (banchan) at Korean restaurants.
Quick and easy recipe to serve as a salad, side or meal prep. I love having this as a snack.
Korean Broccoli Salad
1 1/2-2 lbs broccoli or broccoli florets
1 Tablespoon salt
Dressing
2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil
1 Tablespoons sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
1/4 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
2-3 garlic cloves, minced
1 Tablespoon rice vinegar, white or apple cider vinegar
Pinch sugar
Optional: 1 teaspoon gochugaru or red pepper flakes
Optional garnish: sesame seeds
Directions:
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add salt and whole broccoli (crown side down) or broccoli florets.
Boil for 2-3 minutes to desired tenderness. Drain and rinse with cold water or place the broccoli into a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let sit to drain while you make the dressing.
(If using whole broccoli, cut into florets before mixing with the dressing)
In a bowl, mix the dressing ingredients together. Add the broccoli and toss to combine. Taste and adjust seasonings, as needed.
You can eat it right away but it will taste better after about an hour when the flavors absorb. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
