1 1/2 lb Fresh broccoli, washed,
-split and cut into 2-inch -pieces or 10 oz Pk frozen broccoli spears
2 T Butter or margarine
1 c Sliced fresh mushrooms or
4 oz Can sliced mushrooms,
-drained 1 t Grated onion
2 T Flour
1/4 t Salt
1/8 t Pepper
1 c Milk
1 c Grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Paprika 1. Heat fresh broccoli in a deep, 2 1/2-quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic
casserole, covered, in Microwave Oven 8 to 9 minutes. (Note: If frozen broccoli spears are used, defrost and place in a shallow, 9-inch, heat-resistant, non-metallic baking dish.) 2. In a small, heat-resistant, non-metallic bowl, combine butter, mushrooms
and onion. Heat, uncovered, in Microwave Oven 3 minutes. Stir occasionally. 3. Blend flour and seasonings into butter-mushroom mixture. Heat,
uncovered, in Microwave Oven 3 minutes, stirring after 1 1/2 minutes. 4. Gradually add milk, stirring until mixture is smooth. Heat, uncovered,
in Microwave Oven 3 minutes. Stir every minute. 5. Pour hot mushroom sauce over cooked broccoli. Sprinkle with 1 cup cheese
and paprika. Heat, uncovered, 4 to 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

材料 Ingredients (四至六人份量 4-6 people portion)
十隻急凍帶子 10 frozen scallops
四百五十克西蘭花 450g brocolli
十粒浸發了的杞子 10 wolfberries
二十粒松子 20 pine nuts
兩片薑 2 slices of ginger
兩顆蒜頭 2 cloves of garlic
一茶匙醋 1tsp vinegar
一茶匙鹽 1tsp salt
一茶匙糖 1tsp sugar
一茶匙胡椒粉 1tsp ground pepper
一茶匙半生粉加一湯匙水 1.5tsp potato starch in 1 tbsp water
一茶匙麻油 1tsp sesame oil
一湯匙紹興酒 1tbsp Shaoxing wine or dry sherry
一百五十毫升雞湯或清水 150ml chicken stock or water
適量菜油 Vegetable oil

A Perfect Combination of Health and Taste Recipe: Broccoli and Shiitake Mushrooms in Oyster Sauce
Full Recipe:
This is a very simple Chinese style vegetable dish that anyone can cook easily for a quick meal. I prefer to use fresh shiitake mushrooms but you can use any type of mushroom if you find the flavour of shiitake is too strong for you. Blanching broccoli quickly in boiling water gives it a more crisp tender texture and brings out its flavor and colour.
