Ingredients:
Beef (roasting joint) 1kg in cubes
Bell pepper 1pc
Tomato 4pcs
Potato 1/2kg to 3/4kg
Onion 3pcs
Garlic 1pc
Butter
Cummins 1 tea spoon
Whole black peppercorn 1 table spoon
Basil 1 tea spoon
Oregano 1 tea spoon
Salt 3 table spoons
Black beans 2 cans

The BEST Shaking Beef Recipe! (Bo Luc Lac)

Bo luc lac which translates to shaking beef is a recipe everyone has tries if they are new to Vietnamese cuisine. It's very easy to make and the ingredients are very accessible. Bo luc lac is pretty much steak and onions with an Asian infused flavor.
You can find this dish at many Vietnamese dishes but you will rarely ever see me ordering this at a restaurant because 1) it's expensive at restaurants and 2) it's SO easy to make that you can make it your self. My recipe is THE BEST recipe out there, I haven't met a single person who did not like my recipe.
When making this dish, I recommend using a fairly good cut of beef like ribeye or filet mignon. I'd stay clear of cuts that aren't marbled. Cut your beef into 1 inch cubes and marinate over night for best results!
For this version, I serve it with noodles but you can also serve it with rice. This it the recipe if you want to serve it with rice:

Best Feijoada Recipe - Popular Brazilian Dish!
Feijoada is a dish made with black beans and different pork parts.
Nowadays the traditional feijoada is usually made with dry beef, pork sausages and some people use pork feet and ribs, I particularly prefer only using pork ribs as it’s not so fat.
Here are the ingredients that I am going to use:
Feijoda mix (you can find this mix in North America) and it has 1 sliced calabresa sausage (a Brazilian sausage style), 1 sliced chorizo sausage, dry beef cubes and sliced bacon.
100g of side pork ribs
Garlic and onion powder to season the ribs
2 cups of black beans
1/2 onion
2 pieces of Kale
1 orange
Cassava flour
1 1/2 cup of rice
Salt and oil
Recipe:
Put the black beans in a pressure cooker and add water and salt to your taste. Close it and let it cook in medium heat, once we achieve the pressure let it cook for 30min.
While we cook the beans chop the ribs, season it, add the feijoada mix and reserve it. We are also going to peel the orange, slice and reserve it.
Chop the onion and cut the kale.
It’s time to turn off the heat and let the pressure release. Once it released all the pressure open the cooker and add all the meat, close it and turn on the heat, wait it to achieve the pressure and let it cook for 20 more minutes.
While we let it cook let’s prepare the rice and the kale. Put the rice in a pot, add salt and water. Let it cook.
Fry the onions in a pan for 3 minutes and add the kale. Cook it for around 10min.
Turn off the rice and the beans. Let the pressure release and open the cooker. The broth should look thick like this. If it’s not let it cook a bit longer with the cooker opened.
Now it is ready and I usually serve a bit of rice, then put the feijoada on top. Add cassava flour, kale and slices of orange.
This is a heavy dish but really delicious. You may need a nap afterwards.

1 tbsp oil use veggie broth if you avoid oil
1 medium onion diced
1 medium red bell pepper chopped
3-4 garlic cloves minced
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp sweet paprika
1 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
Pinch of red pepper flakes
Salt & black pepper to taste
1 1/2 cups (300 g) white rice uncooked
1 1/4 cups (300 ml) vegetable broth or more, depending on rice variety
1 1/4 cups (300 g) salsa
One 15 oz can (270 g) kidney beans drained and rinsed
1/2 cup (65 g) green olives halved (optional)
Fresh herbs to garnish, e.g. cilantro or parsley
