Ingredientes:
2 tz de coco rallado / 2 cups shredded coconut
1 tz de coco rallado sin azucar / 1 cup of shredded coconut without sugar
1/2 lata de leche condensada or 7 onz / 1/2 can of condensed milk (7 oz)
1 cdta de sal , 1 cdta de extracto de vainilla or de almendra
1 tsp of salt , 1 tsp vanilla extract or almond extract
1 clara de huevo / 1 egg white
2 cdas de harina de todo uso / 2 tbsp all purpose flour
Maraschino cherry

**INGEDIENTES**
: 2 1/4 coco rallado (shreded coconut)
: 1 taza de azucar (1 cup sugar)
: 2 cda. harina todo uso (2 tbsp. all purpouse flour)
: 2 cda. aceite de coco (2 tbsp. coconut oil)
: 1 cda. vanilla ( 1 tbsp. vanilla extract)
: 3 huevos (2 eggs)
Facil y sencillo ????
Arrancamos mezclando todos los ingredientes y refrigeramos por 30 minutos luego de esto en un molde de galletas y con un scoop de helados formamos y acomodamos los besitos de coco y al horno 350 F me tomo 20 minutos y es cuestion de verificar que no se nos quemen y a disfrutar de unos ricos Besitos de Coco...Buen Provecho
siempre pendiente ya que todos los hornos no trabajan igual...

Coconut Macaroons/Besitos De Coco Ingredients:
One 14 oz bag of sweetened coconut flakes
7/8 cup sweetened condensed milk (which equals to 3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp)
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 large egg whites
1/4 tsp salt
(optional) 4 oz or so of semi sweet chocolate
In a medium bowl mix coconut flakes, sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, then set aside. In a separate bowl add the 2 large egg whites and salt, beat until fluffy like a cloud. Fold in the egg whites into the bowl with the coconut flakes, condensed milk and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (NOT wax paper, the macaroons will stick). Scoop out tablespoons of the mixture using a ice cream scoop or cookie scoop, making nice mounds, put on baking sheet about 1in apart from each other. Bake in the oven for 23-25 min or until edges and tops are golden.
(Optional) Put chocolate into bowl and microwave in 30 sec intervals and mix each time until chocolate is melted. Let the macaroons cool for a couple of minutes after you pull them out of the oven and before dipping into the chocolate. Dip into chocolate and scrape off any excess and place back on baking sheet with parchment paper and let cool in fridge for 10-15 min so chocolate can set, then serve and enjoy! Buen provecho!

Today I made for you besitos de coco, or Puerto Rican style coconut macaroons. This is a very easy and simple recipe. You will be amazed at how good they are!
Here are the ingredients:
5 1/2 cups shredded sweetened coconut (14.5 oz bag)
1 can of condensed milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
2/3 cup of all purpose flour plus more for dusting the pan
Parchment paper to cover the baking sheet.
