How To make Beef Stuffed Shells
1 pound ground beef
1 large onion
chopped
1 clove garlic :
chopped to taste
8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 egg
Seasonings * 18 giant shells
1 jar spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese **
* salt, pepper, parsley, oregano (all to taste) **(I have also used more mozzar ella since we like things cheesy :) )
Brown ground meat, onion and garlic. Drain and cool. Cook shells in boiling wat er about 15 minutes, drain. Into meat mixture, stir in mozzarella cheese, bread crumbs, egg and seasonings. Spread 1/4 of the jar of sauce into a baking dish (I use a lasagne pan, sorry can't recall dimensions!). Stuff the shells with th e meat mixture and place in dish on top of sauce. Pour remaining sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle with the parmesan cheese. Cover with foil and bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes. Freezing i nstructions: I have frozen this dish several times with success. Use the foil p ans for this or put foil in your baking dish before the sauce and assembling sh ells. You can cook the shells then cool and freeze; thaw and reheat at 350 degr ees till heated through. You can also freeze the stuffed shells before cooking, then thaw and cook as directed. The only thing I have noticed when freezing is that you may need to add more sauce over the top.

In this this video I will show you how to make spinach and ricotta stuffed shells with sausage. This recipe takes less than 30 minutes to make and it delicious!
Shells stuffing
Simmer 1 chopped onion and 5 cloves of garlic
Add ground sausage and cook until browned
Add 1 tsp of garlic and pepper seasoning
1 tsp of crushed red pepper
1 tsp of complete seasoning
Add 2 oz of spinach cook until wilted
let this cool down for 15 minutes
Add 12 oz of ricotta cheese
Add 1 tsp of black pepper
Add 1 tsp of Italian seasoning
Add 2 oz of mozzarella and cheddar cheese mixed
Pasta shells
Cook the pasta shells for half of the time that it says on the packaging
Directions
Spread Ragu sauce on the bottom of your baking pan. Stuff your shells then add them the pan. Cover your shells with the remainder of the ragu sauce. Top with mozzarella Parmesan and cheddar cheese. Bake on 350 for 30 minutes. Broil for 1-3 minutes (optional).
