Bean & Bacon Soup ???? Pressure Canning
Ladle hot soup into clean jars hot jars leaving 1 headspace. De-bubble, wipe rims, center lid and add rings to fingertip tight.
Pressure can quarts for 90 minutes, pints for 75 adjusting for altitude as follows:
Weighted gauge Dial gauge
0-1,000 ft 10 11
1,001-2,000 ft 15 11
2,001-4,000 ft 15 12
4,001-6,000 ft 15 13
6,001-8,000 ft 15 14
8,001-10,000 ft 15 15
This recipe CANNOT be safely water bath or steam canned.
Allow jars to cool undisturbed 24 hours, remove rings, wash jars and store in a cool dark place.

Bean with Bacon Soup
Bean with Bacon Soup! I tried to recreate a soup from my childhood and failed miserably. This was not good, lol. Do not make this.
Recipe:
BEAN WITH BACON SOUP
INGREDIENTS
250g bacon, chopped
1 onion, diced
250 mL (1 cup) diced celery
250 mL (1 cup) diced carrot
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
5 mL (1 tsp) dried oregano
salt and pepper
10 mL (2 tsp) dried chipotle pepper
750 mL (3 cups) broth
375 mL (1 1/2 cups) stewed tomatoes
2 - 540 mL cans beans, drained and rinsed
Method:
In Dutch oven or soup pot, cook bacon over until fat is rendered and bacon is crisp.
Add onion, celery, carrot, and garlic; cook until onion is softened.
Add oregano, salt, black pepper and dried chipotle, stir in.
Stir in beans, tomatoes, and broth; reduce heat to a simmer, cover and cook for 30 - 60 minutes
