MAKING A BANANA PUDDING CHEESECAKE CAKE!
Banana Pudding, a southern delight that everyone loves but, what happens when you take an already excellent dish and combine it with cheesecake and cake? The answer to that is something that is absolute delicious! In today's video we go over how to put together this awesome cake by combining 3 great desserts into one.

How To Make The Cheesecake:
For the banana flavored cake layers follow my How To Make Box Cake Mix Good video and use butter golden cake mix with banana cream pudding mix and banana flavoring.
Banana Pudding Custard:
2 Cups Whole Milk
1 Cup Sugar
4 Tblsp Butter(half stick)
3 Egg Yolks(separate yolks from whites)
2 Tblsp All Purpose Flour
1 Tblsp Vanilla Extract
1 Tblsp Banana Flavoring
In a medium pot over medium heat combine the milk, sugar, and egg yolks and whisk until combined. Then add in the flour and whisk until combined and then add in the butter.
Continue to constantly whisk and stir allowing the butter to gradually melt and combine with the liquid mixture. Then for the next 15-20 mins continuously whisk everything non-stop while mixture starts to cook.
Towards the end of the timer the mixture will begin to become thick. Once desired consistency is reached remove from heat. Do not allow it to overboil as this will scorch the custard.
Add flavorings after the custard has been removed from the heat. It is best to add flavorings after the cooking process so not to scorch the flavorings and create a bitter taste in the custard.
Pour custard through a mesh strainer to remove any overcooked bits and allow to cool and you have a perfect banana pudding custard!
Delicious Banana Pudding Cheesecake

Ingredients
Two 8oz pack cream cheese
2 eggs
1/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup sugar
1 shot of your fave cognac (optional)
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp maple extract
1 small package vanilla pudding mix
1 3/4 cup half and half
1 tsp vanilla
Bananas- as needed
Nilla wafer cookies - as needed
1 small box heavy whipping cream
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp vanilla
FOR CARAMEL SAUCE
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp cognac

We combined two of our favorite desserts to make one absolutely scrumptious Banana Pudding Cheesecake. The rich cream cheese perfectly compliments the sweetness of the bananas, and crushed vanilla wafers give the yummy treat a delicious crunch.

1 1/2 cups finely crushed vanilla wafers; 1/2 cup chopped pecans; 1/4 cup butter, melted; 17 vanilla wafers; 2 large ripe bananas, diced; 1 tablespoon lemon juice; 2 tablespoons light brown sugar; 3 (8-oz.) packages cream cheese, softened; 1 cup granulated sugar; 3 large eggs; 2 teaspoons vanilla extract; 1/2 cup coarsely crushed vanilla wafers; Garnishes: sweetened whipped cream; vanilla wafers; sliced bananas tossed in lemon juice

1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 cup melted butter
1 1/3 cup milk

1 pack of Jello banana cream pudding mix
Filling:
1 pack of Jello Banana cream pudding
2 cups milk
1 cup Cool Whip (whipped cream)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbs sugar
Cheesecake:

1/3 cup sour cream
1 cup sugar

2 sticks of butter
