How To make Banana Oat Bread
1/2 c AM Oat Bran
1/2 c AM Oat Flakes
3/4 c Hot milk, soymilk or water
2 Ripe bananas; mashed
1/2 c Honey
1/4 c Unrefined vegetable oil
2 Egg whites
-- beaten until fluffy 1 1/2 c AM Whole Wheat Pastry Flour
1 tb Non-alum baking powder
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1/4 c Chopped pecans
Combine first three ingredients, set aside to cool, combine mashed bananas, honey, vegetable oil, beaten egg whites, then stir into oat mixture. Mix dry ingredients together and stir into oat mixture. Pour batter into an oiled bread pan. Bake at 350 F. for 1 hour or until done. 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
3 tablespoons of yogurt

Oatmeal Banana Bread Recipe ~ How to make moist Banana Bread with Oats
The addition of oats in this recipe plus a reduction in the sugar is a Must try! The bread is moist (mainly from the sour cream) and has lots of fiber from the oats! Try it and thank me later!

Ingredients used
3-4 large bananas
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup all purpose flour (sifted)
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup light brown sugar (can use regular sugar)
1/2 cup sour cream
2 eggs @ room temperature
1/2 cup or 1 stick salted butter @ room temperature
1 tsp ground nutmeg or cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp pure banana extract
Bake @350F for 60-70 minutes. Insert a toothpick and it’s done if it comes out clean. Let it cool down completed before cutting into it.
