Sticky walnut Upside down Banana Bread // Banana Bread /Simply the Best Step by Step ❤️
When it comes to Banana bread, this STICKY WALNUT UPSIDE DOWN BANANA BREAD is hard to beat, the combination of flavors like bananas with vanilla, brown sugar and the ground cloves take it up to the top, and most special of all is the sticky sweet crunch of the walnuts with it all. This delicious recipe is a good one to follow when you have dark ripe bananas that no one in the family wants to eat, the riper the sweeter they get and that makes a winner banana bread. I love sticky buns, and I make delicious cinnamon rolls, if not the best and the sticky part is just so good…I decided to give it a try and turn this banana bread into a sticky walnut upside down banana bread, and I got a winner. I love baking several in disposable tin pans then wrapping them up pretty and give them out to neighbors and friends as Christmas gifts, or just slicing it up and serving it on a platter to family and friends during the holidays, it freezes well too. NUT TOPPING INGREDIENTS ____________
1/2 STICK MELTED BUTTER (4 TBSP)
1/4 C. BROWN SUGAR
1/4 C. CORN SYRUP
1 C. CHOPPED WALNUTS
BANANA BREAD INGREDIENTS _______________
1 3/4 C. All purpose flour
1/4 C. Brown sugar
1/4 C. white sugar (granulated)
1 stick melted butter (8 Tbsp)
2 large eggs (room temperature)
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp Baking soda
1/8 tsp ground cloves
3/4 tsp Cinnamon
3 very ripe bananas
3 TIPS————
1. Let nutty topping mixture cool and set some in baking dish before adding batter
2. Bake 350° for approximately 50 minutes or till toothpick comes out clean, depending on your oven and dish it could take less or more time.
3. Once out of the oven let cool for 3-5 minutes then flip over (not longer) so nuts won’t stick, if some do just remove them with fork and position them on bread.
4. Use caution and wear oven mitts when handling hot dish.

Starbucks Banana Nut Bread From Scratch
This recipe is a lot better than Starbucks Banana bread recipe.
When your bananas go bad or ripe do you just throw them away? Well here is a good trick on how to use a bad or ripe banana and turn it into something delicious. We are gonna learn how to make Banana Bread & I will be sharing my tricks and tips so that your banana bread comes out perfect. Once you make it I am sure you will agree that this is way better than Starbucks!
You don't have to be an expert cook to make this Banana Bread recipe. All you need to know are some basic tricks and tips Banana Bread is probably the most fav comfort food of all time. Today I decided to make this video and showcase my version which comes out perfect each time.

I have listed the ingredients in metric and imperial
2 Large Bananas
2 Large Size Eggs
1/3 Cup or 75g Yogurt
1/2 Cup or 110g Oil
3/4 Cup or 150g Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp or 1g Cinnamon
1/4 tsp or 1g salt
Baking Soda 1tsp or 4g
Vanilla Extract 1tsp or 4g
Flour 2 cups or 240g
3/4 cups or 75-80g chopped almonds (divided)
Instructions
1. Start by Preheating the oven to 350F or 180C
2. In a bowl mash bananas. Add eggs, yogurt, oil, and brown sugar. Then add salt, cinnamon, baking soda, and vanilla extract.
3. Tak all-purpose flour and pour in your banana mixture. Important: do not over mix this. mix 4-5 times quick folds. At this point add half of your chopped almond nuts. the other half will be used for decorating.
4. Pour your mixture into a pan. I used a 5x7 pan. Tap your pan a few times to let any air out from your banana bread mix. Add remaining chopped almonds.
5. The total bake time is 1 hour. Bake first 30 minutes at 350F/180C uncovered. Then cover your bread using aluminum foil and bake again for 30 minutes.
That's petty much it for baking this awesome banana bread with almond nuts.

CLASSIC BANANA BREAD RECIPE
▪560g (6 large) very ripe bananas
▪115g or 1 stick butter, melted
▪3 large eggs
▪120g or 2/3c dark brown sugar
▪70g or 1/4c molasses
▪5g or 1tsp vanilla extract
▪140g or 1/2c sour cream
▪40g or 3Tbsp olive oil
▪420g or 3 1/4c ap flour
▪12g or 2tsp salt
▪15g or 1Tbsp baking powder
▪6g or 1 1/4tsp baking soda
Mash bananas. Add eggs, brown sugar, molasses, vanilla, sour cream, and melted (but not super hot) butter. Whisk to combine.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda. Whisk to combine then fold dry ingredients into wet. Don’t overmix.
Spray or butter a loaf 1.5lb (10”x5”x3”) loaf pan then prepare with a sling of parchment. Spray or butter parchment then transfer banana bread mix into the pan. See recipe below if using a 1lb loaf pan.
Tap to level then bake at 350F/175C for 60-70min.

EVERYTHING BANANA BREAD RECIPE
▪100g or 3/4c walnuts
▪20g or 2 1/4Tbsp sesame seeds
▪20g or 2 1/4Tbsp poppy seeds
▪20g or 2 1/4Tbsp hemp seeds
▪20g for 2 1/4Tbsp lax seeds
▪150g or 1c dark chocolate chunks (+ a few extra for topping)
Mix seeds and nuts, add to a sheet tray and toast in 350F/175C oven for 15min until walnuts have taken on a slight golden color.
Use same recipe as classic banana bread above. After wet and dry ingredients are combined, fold in toasted seed mix then the chocolate.
Spray or butter a loaf 1.5lb (10”x5”x3”) loaf pan then prepare with a sling of parchment. Spray or butter parchment then transfer banana bread mix into the pan. Top with additional chocolate chunks
Tap to level then bake at 350F/175C for 60-70min.
