How To make Banana Honey Cake
CAKE:
1 c Honey
1 ts Soda
1 c Quaker Oats, uncooked
-- (quick or old-fashioned) 3/4 c Butter or margarine; soft
1/2 c Sugar
2 Eggs
1 c Mashed bananas
1 1/2 c Sifted all-purpose flour
3/4 ts Baking powder
3/4 ts Salt
FROSTING:
6 oz Cream cheese; soft
2 1/2 c Sifted confectioners' sugar
For cake, bring honey to a boil in medium-sized saucepan; add 1/2 teaspoon of the soda. Pour over oats; stir to combine. Cover and let stand 10 minutes. Beat butter until creamy; gradually add sugar, beating until fluffy. Blend in eggs. Add oats mixture and bananas; blend well. Sift together flour, remaining 1/2 teaspoon soda, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture; blend well. Pour batter into 2 greased and waxed paper-lined 8-inch round cake pans. Bake in preheated moderate oven (350 F.) 30 to 35 minutes. Cool on wire rack about 10 minutes. Remove from pans; cool. For frosting, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually add sugar, beating until frosting is smooth and of spreading consistency. Spread between layers and over top of cake; refrigerate. Just before serving, decorate with banana slices. Makes one 2-layer cake. 3 bananas
a half lemon juice
1/4 cup of sugar (60g)
2 tbsp of butter (30g)
1/2 cup of chopped walnuts
2 eggs
a pinch of salt
8g of vanilla sugar
1/4 cup of vegetable oil (60ml)
1/2 cup of milk (120ml)
1 and 1/2 cup of all purpose flour (160g-180g)
2 tbsp of cocoa powder (20g)
1 tbsp of baking powder (15g)
some powdered sugar for garnish

Healthy Banana Bread - Cooking With Ayeh
Traditionally, banana bread can be unhealthy with a high amount of sugar and butter. So I’ve created my own healthy version without using any added sugars or butter, still keeping a beautiful flavour and moist texture. This recipe is now a regular in my house, and I’m sure it will be in your home too ????
INGREDIENTS
Dry Ingredients
2 cups rolled oats
2 tsp baking powder
½ cup chopped walnuts
2 tbsp chia seeds
½ tsp ground cinnamon
Wet Ingredients
3 ripe bananas
1 extra banana for garnish
1 egg or flax egg
4 tbsp melted coconut oil
2 tbsp rice malt syrup or honey
½ cup almond milk
Dash of vanilla extract
