Episode 199: Rabanada ???????? (International French Toast Collab with Richard In The Kitchen)
Hello my Friends and welcome to the 199th Episode!
In this Video, I am doing a International French Toast Collab with Richard from Richard In The Kitchen! Richard is making Mexican French Toast (South Of The Border) and I am making Brazilian French Toast (Rabanada). This Recipe is the Bomb dot com delicious, simple, easy, crispy, and with a Sugar Cocoa Topping? OMG Magnificent!!! Fried to Golden Perfection! Awesome for Breakfast and a Snack!!
Richard’s Channel, Richard In The Kitchen:
Richard’s Mexican French Toast, (South Of The Border) Recipe:
1 medium-large baguette, cut into 1/2-1 inch thick slices
Oil, for frying
Maple Syrup
Custard
3 jumbo eggs, room temperature
3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
6 tbsp evaporated milk
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract
Sugar Cocoa Glaze
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
For the Sugar Cocoa Glaze: In a small bowl, add sugar, cocoa powder, and cinnamon; stir until well incorporated. Set aside.
In a large bowl, add eggs, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, salt, vanilla, and almond extract; mix until well combined, In a large baking dish, add the baguette slices and pour filling on top and cover with foil or plastic wrap and chill overnight in the refrigerator. The next day, add oil into a large skillet and heat it to 330 Degrees. Remove bread from refrigerator and add to the hot oil and fry on both sides for 2 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oil and drain on a pan with paper towels. While French Toast still hot, dredge into Sugar Cocoa Glaze all over. Place on a plate and serve with Maple Syrup.

Episode 251: French Toast
Hello my Friends!
Are you a fan of French Toast like I am, OMG what until you try this Recipe! It’s a little different than other French Toast Recipes, this is so moist and fluffy you wouldn’t believe!! The secret is Flour!! This is the Best French Toast I’ve ever eaten!! This will be your new favorite Recipe!!
Ellen’s Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice:
1/4 cup cake or all purpose flour
1 cup evaporated milk
3 jumbo eggs, room temperature
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Pinch (1/8 tsp) salt
1 tbsp white sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp maple extract
3-5 slices Texas toast, or any thick bread
In a large bowl, add flour and slowly whisk in evaporated milk. Then add eggs, pumpkin pie spice, salt, sugar, vanilla and maple extract; whisk until well combined. Preheat griddle or skillet over medium heat, add butter or oil. Dip bread into milk mixture (custard) on both sides then add to the griddle. Cook on both sides until golden brown (about 4-5 minutes). Remove from griddle and place on a plate and serve with butter, maple syrup, or fruit. Enjoy!
