How To make Backyard's Jalapeno Cheese Grits
2 qt Water
12 oz Quick grits
1/2 lb Butter
2 Jalapenos, diced, remove
- seeds for sissies. 1 md Red bell pepper, diced
1 md Poblano pepper, diced
1 md Onion, diced
1/2 lb Cheddar cheese, grated
1/2 lb Monteray Jack, grated
4 Eggs, beaten
Salt, to taste Bring water to a boil. Add grits and simmer for 5 minutes. (For thinner grits, add more water.) Set aside. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium high heat; add peppers and onion. Saute until tender, about 5 minutes. Add to grits, along with cheeses. Add eggs and season with salt. Pour into a 2-quart
casserole and refrigerate until ready to cook. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25 minutes, or until set. Serve immediately.

Pork Belly & Cheesy Grits Recipe | Camp Chef
Cheesy Grits are the ultimate comfort food that goes great with any BBQ recipe. These cheesy grits are simmered in chicken broth for extra flavor, add your favorite cheese and then you have perfection. Add pork belly and caramelized onions for added flavor and texture.

Here's the full recipe:
INGREDIENTS:
For the grits:
4 cups of chicken broth
1 cup instant grits
Pinch of salt
1 cup of your favorite cheese, shredded
For the caramelized onions:
2 onions, diced
3 cloves of garlic, minced
1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
4-6 Tablespoons butter
PREPERATION:
For cheesy grits:
Bring chicken broth to a boil, slowly stir in grits and salt until combined. Turn heat to low and simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes. Add cheese and stir until melted and cook an additional 3 minutes or until grits are soft.
For caramelized onions:
In a cast iron skillet, melt butter on medium heat. Add onions and garlic. When onions are translucent, add mustard and combine.
Top grits with onion mixture and smoked pork belly.
