How To make Apple Cheddar Quiche
1 tablespoon chopped onion
6 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 1/4 cups crushed stone-ground whole
wheat crackers 1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
2 large tart apples
peeled, cored, and
sliced :
(2 c.) 3 eggs
1 cup cream-style cottage cheese
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1/4 cup milk
Ground nutmeg
Cook onion in butter or margarine until tender. Stir in crushed crackers and nu ts. Press mixture into a 9 inch pie plate forming a crust. Bake in 350 degree o ven 8 to 10 minutes. Meanwhile, simmer apples in a small amount of water 3 to 5 minutes or until tender. Drain; arrange apples in crust. In blender container or food processor bowl blend the eggs, cheese, milk, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and das h pepper until smooth. Pour into crust. Sprinkle nutmeg atop. Bake in a 325 deg ree oven about 45 minutes or until knife inserted off-center comes out clean. L et stand 10 minutes. Makes 5 servings. Recipe from "One Million Recipes CD"

150g / 5¼oz Cold butter

300g or mls / 10½oz Single cream
100g or mls / 3½oz Milk full or half fat
½tsp Salt
½tsp Ground black pepper

60g / 2oz Mature grated cheddar or gruyere cheese
120g / 4oz or 8 Rashers of smoked or unsmoked streaky bacon
100g / 3½oz of diced boiled ham

175g / 6oz Tinned or fresh skinless and boneless salmon
100g / 3½oz Broccoli florets
60g / 2oz Mature cheddar cheese

This super easy Quiche Recipe is so delicious and simple to make. Quiche is one of my favorites because its so versatile. It works just as well for breakfast as it does for dinner! Feel free to be creative and switch it up with your favorite cheeses, vegetables, or meats to make it perfect suit your taste!

Ingredients:
1 pie crust refrigerated
6 large eggs
3/4 cup half and half
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 cups cooked ham chopped
1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
4 tbsp scallions
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375F and place frozen pie dish into refrigerator to thaw.
2. In a large bowl, mix together eggs, half and half, salt and pepper.
3. Once the pie crust is thawed, pierce the bottom with a fork then sprinkle the ham, scallions, and 1 cup of the mozzarella and cheddar mix into the pie crust. Pour the egg mixture over the top and sprinkle the remaining cup of cheese on top.
4. Bake for 25 minutes covered then cover with aluminum foil for the remaining 10 minutes if the crust starts to brown too much.
5. Once the center is completely set, let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.

ingredients :
1 apple
juice of half a lemon
2 tbsp of brown sugar
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
250g of rectangular puff pastry
1/4 cup of walnuts (30g)
some raisins (about 15g)
4 tbsp of any jam you like ( I used apricot jam)
1 egg yolk
1 tbsp of milk
